As title states, had surgery only yesterday and I’ve already had the packaging in both sinuses go down my throat, one I coughed up so I know it’s definitely that, also can now breathe perfectly fine through both sides (what a relief). But I’m a worried this will effect healing as the surgeon said they should be in for at least 5 to 7 days. Can’t currently contact hospital due to being outside opening hours.

Anyone had a similar occurrence? What was your healthcares response?

Im 31 and for as long as I can remember have been working 60-70 hour weeks mostly 6 days a week. Having time off without it being for a holiday is completely new to me.

However on December 10th I’m going in for surgery and have been told by doc that I need to take 4-6 weeks off from work. It’s just sinus surgery so I won’t be bed ridden or required to rest but I have to avoid physical or strenuous activities.

Been toying with the idea of getting a PlayStation and pissing away the weeks in my underwear sat on the sofa feeling like I’m 16 again but I wanna make productive use of this very rare occurrence. Always loved the idea of learning a new language but I feel even 4-6 weeks non stop wou
