Like many others I was a little confused that Apple took away the old keyboard shortcut hint menu and moved them to the options bar at the top, especially with these new window placement shortcuts that overlap some old ones (which I’ve been finding pretty useful).

However, I noticed that one of my most used shortcuts, 🌐+` To swap which app window is in front, is no longer listed anywhere in the keyboard shortcuts menu, despite the fact that it still works just fine. Seems like a very “Apple” decision to keep this trick around and not have it clearly listed anywhere. Wondering if anyone has discovered other working keyboard shortcuts that aren’t listed in the menus? I’m particularly mi

I’ve been staring at this puzzle so long I thought I was losing my mind. After the sequence sorting puzzle I was surprised by how easy the last level seemed, but for some reason this solution *almost* works but not quite. The first two input sequences render correctly, but the third has an extra pixel for some reason and I can’t determine why. Nothing I’m doing here seems to interact with the parity of the length so I’m not sure why an odd number would be extended one extra pixel? Not sure if anyone here can see the problem.

For a basic overview of the idea here, the left

Specifically this one, I have a big bulky corded Dremel that I got for cheap a few years ago but it’s pretty unwieldy and way overkill for plastic and resin minis. I do use it for bigger projects on occasion but I’m looking to upgrade to something smaller/weaker and ideally cordless.

I recently saw this all in one kit on TikTok which looks really nice, but wanted to know if people had experience with it. I own an electric screwdriver from Fanttik that I adore, but I’ve also heard their soldering iron isn’t very good, so my impression of the brand is a mixed bag. Any thoughts from people who might have gott

I started playing last night and am a few hours in, just got past establishing burner generators for power. I’m a moderately seasoned factory game veteran with hundreds of hours in Satisfactory and Factorio, so I know how helpful it can be to start planning for manufacturing at scale early on! With Factorio I usually follow the popular philosophy of having a “main bus” of centralized resources and branching assembly off of that, but with Satisfactory I usually find more success with localized assembly set-ups scattered around the map that transport their end products to some kind of central hub for redistribution to other factories. I’m sort of split between the two right now for this game!

I wanted to share something I’ve found really helpful lately. Like a lot of people here, I struggle a lot with smaller, irregular but frequent tasks and it led to me feeling like I couldn’t function as an adult. Little things like laundry, cleaning, groceries, etc. I would only do the bare minimum necessary to keep things functional and that was only when things were pushed to a point where they can’t be ignored anymore. I know many of my ADHD friends can relate and I’m sure many here do too.

Recently though I’ve been doing some of those things a lot more consistently, because I tried to keep notice of the things that pulled away my attention or caused me to lose motivation, and doing whate

I’ve seen a lot of posts talking about how important it is to use official Mikuexpo light sticks at the shows rather than third party LED sticks to prevent messing with the holograms. Has anyone ever had experience bringing lightsticks from older MikuExpo shows though? I still have a stick I bought in preperation for MikuExpo 2020 (RIP) and I’d love to bring it to the 2024 show along with a newer one. I figure since it was made for the expo before, it should be fine right?

I’m thinking this is more of a problem with Spotify than it is with Tesla, as they are running a 3rd party app in the vehicle OS, but it’s a damn shame that we can’t listen to uploaded music through the spotify app in the car. The ability to upload my own files was a big draw to me switching up to 100% streaming music a few years back, but it seems like it’s a feature that’s been mostly forgotten about. Really hope we can get the ability to listen to those manually added tracks, or at least locally download stream only files sometime soon. Probably my biggest item on my future updates wishlist 🤞

About a month before my Tesla was scheduled to be delivered I came to realize they no longer include a mobile connector with new car purchases. I’ve been checking the store page every week since then but they never seem to be in stock. I even got an email yesterday that said they had been restocked (confirmed with a Tesla agent that there was a restock happening) but the store page was sold out when I checked it and stayed that way all day. I’m due to pick the car up next week but still don’t have a way to charge it at home.

Have others been experiencing this problem too? Has it always been like this? I didn’t think a charging cable would be the kind of product to be eternally out of stock.
