I failed to quit many, many times. Never went longer than 3 weeks without rebounding until I finally quit it all entirely.

It took being unemployed, living with a friend on a scratch budget, switching from smoking to vaping and stepping down nicotine intake until I eventually stopped.

13 years of my adult life and income were wasted on nicotine. Never again.

You can do it too.

Just wondering I should sell my Quest 3 since I spent 3 hours today among 2 PCs and three cables where it used to work before and hadn't played in wired in a while, and nothing works. At all. I even had the headset soft-lock and had to force it to turn off and restart it when attempting the Link connection. WTF is Meta doing these days?

I nuked all installations for oculus/meta, everything in appdata, every device listed in usbdeview, reinstalled over and over again. Even went the lengths of doing DDU and reinstalling my gpu drivers on my laptop (with a 4070) and desktop (with a 3070ti) and it refuses to connect at all. Tried official oculus link cable as well as standard USB3.2 cables at 6

To start off, I'm asking to see if it's possible to repeat the network to a router/repeater/extender (I don't know the technical limitations/meanings behind all of that) with both 'networks' having all their clients visible and pingable/connectable to each other. I have my BGW320-500 that I have my main PC plugged into, and various other wireless devices. However, the GL.inet router I have while I can wirelessly repeat the network, its own devices cannot see the main AT&T network's devices and vice-versa.

I have a network in the back of my apartment of a set of devices that I have to have back there due to power limits in my apartment. I live in a shotgun-style apartment and I'm not allowed

I've been trying to figure out how to do Control Transfer requests to a USB HID device (it already has a vendor driver which works - this is NOT a custom device) but I can't seem to find a library that is capable of doing this on Windows.

I know the HID device, endpoint, request, index, and value to use for the requests I want to make, but I can't find anything that can actually do HID control transfers without using a custom driver (such as libusb or winusb) - I'm not writing a driver, I just want to tap into the HID the driver already provides access to. But I can only find working libraries that can read/write Reports - not Control Transfers.

Currently I'm using [HIDSharp](https://

So here's the thing: I currently already have HDMI-in -> USB-C DP-out with -> micro-USB-A 5V power-in to power a wearable display (Rokid Air). The problem is I'd also like to be able to utilize the data stream of the USB connection instead of having a single directional output with no data communication.

From what I've been searching around for, I can't seem to find any resemblance of this existing at all. These two adapters (one of which I have multiple spares of now) work for the display, but cannot do data because it only takes in the 5V power:

UPDATE: Newegg got in touch with me and got me a refund immediately. It seems their internal systems fell through and might have given the 3rd party seller too much power in the RMA process. I gave some feedback through an extended direct phone call conversation on how they should improve their tech stack for RMAs and how 3rd party sellers should work on their marketplace to benefit customers in a more streamlined way so that a situation like this cannot happen again. Personally I will probably never buy from a 3rd party seller on Newegg again and am still tentative about using Newegg in the future but at least a direct communication and resolution was involved after several weeks of poo

I've quit for extended periods before due to job searching security, but generally have been a long time user for effectively my entire adult life.

I don't know where I'll go from here, but it's been a crutch from a cripplingly terrible childhood that I've pretty much moved on from. I'm in a stable and successful part of my life, but this continues to ever so slightly drag me down and has a domino effect of other problems (overeating, anti-social, sleep issues, adversity to exercise, etc).

I'm just done. I want to be free, I want to be happy, and I want to continue doing more with my life without this holding me back. It's all gone and I have to move forward with this.

I quit nicotine ove
