Hey hey! I'm a tank player who is looking for a group that is going to tackle the new Savage tier in 8.0 and clear in the top 30-50 range. My previous group had cleared Heavyweight tier at #104, and UMAD at #156. I'm looking to move up those numbers if possible.

Some basic stuff:

  • Omnitank, and will be leveling Bastion ASAP. Favored jobs are PLD > WAR > DRK > GNB
  • Can raid 16 hour days, even longer if we're nearing a big prog point/clear
  • Has Twitch/Youtube streaming for gameplay recording
  • Prog focused mentality
  • Dad jokes

In a pinch I can also pivot to most other roles (notably phys ranged or healer), but tank is the role I have most experience with by far.

I'm watching a friend's stream and noticed that moving over certain UI elements can produce this pink artifacting. As seen in the screenshot, it appears over the inbox and help icons, but earlier it was happening when mousing over the text channel names as well. These also appear when mousing over user icons below the stream.

I just put this PC together so instantly I'm worried, but also my GPU seems fine and I ran a stress test to see if there were any issues. It ran cool and I didn't see any potential problems.

I also restarted my PC, made sure my GPU was plugged in all the way, and reinstalled Discord.

I confirmed it happens with any stream I watch in D

Tanks got a couple very specific kinds of defensive changes in Dawntrail:

  • Rampart now has a +15% healing received component
  • 2 minute mitigations (Guardian, Greater Nebula, Shadowed Vigil, Damnation) have been upgraded to 40% + their job respective bonus

What this means is that your 40% mits are really good for tankbusters, and rampart is especially good for extended auto-attacks from the boss, since it's a longer duration that also boosts any sort of heals that you're being given (i.e. regen). You can then use your short cooldown mitigations for anything in between - i.e. buffing yourself a little more for TBs, or for taking autos that only last for less than 10 seconds or so.

Hi there! I'm looking to upgrade the graphics card for my PC, as I've been experiencing some significant framerate drops and (potentially) some artifacting so I figure it'd be a good idea to get ahead of it.

Some specs that I assume are the most important:

CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K 3.60 ghz

Graphics: Geforce RTX 2070

Motherboard: Z390 Pro4

I'm not really sure how to check what graphics cards will work with this, but I will say I can't go much larger than the graphics card listed above, as my case isn't that big.

Additionally, the things I'm mostly playing are games like Dota 2, FF14, etc. Nothing insane, so I'm not looking for the most expensive thing on the market. Just something that

As I was going through Living Memory in the final part of the MSQ, hitting all the terminals, I 100% expected that after the final trial there would be some event that would bring back all the citizens (or at least the shut-down scenery) so that it'd be back at its initial form for all the inevitable FATE-grinding, etc. They could explain it away as some sort of backup data replaying the final moments of the citizens or...something.

Instead...it stayed shut down. No quests to bring it back, etc. as far as I've found.

You might say "well duh, what'd you expect" but even though hitting the terminals gave warning messages that they would not be able to be re-enabled, I just thought it was a t

Title - for the first few minutes I can arrange things just fine, add heroes, categories, etc.

After that, though, attempting to move categories causes them to disappear, resizing sometimes leads to the categories instantly going to max size (maybe a misclick but it happened a few times), and creating a new category can either (1) do nothing or (2) remove every category at once.

Can anyone else confirm if this is happening for them? I haven't made a new pick screen in quite a while so I was disappointed to find that this is just unworkable right now.

The new HUD has a little gap to the bottom left of the minimap (if your minimap is on the lefthand side), and if you click there keybinds stop working, until you click back into the middle of the game. It's like it unfocuses the window, but that isn't what's happening.

Haven't had issues like this with any other HUD. Any chance this gets fixed Volvo?
