Hi! I have my Themis books from the July 2024 exam that I’m looking to get rid of. I’m in the NYC area, so if anyone wants them message me!
I have daily brain fog which makes it pretty hard to focus, on top of always being tired. I don’t remember a day where I woke up rested and could think clearly. I’m at the point where it really impacts my life and work quality at my job. I don’t want to be a “bad employee” but it’s hard for me to even get out of the bed in the morning, and then I drag throughout my day.
What are tips / lifestyle management to make this better?
Can I e-sign these documents for the NY bar app? I don’t have a printer or scanner. I’m assuming the answer is no but wanted to see if anyone knew for sure.
Does anyone have the lecture transcripts and are willing to email to me? Thank you x100 in advance
Long story short, I've been working at an insurance defense firm for seven months now as a first year. I didn't meet my billables for the month again (they want at least 8 a day but “goal is 10”), and have missed deadlines (we have had multiple people recently quit so overloaded with work). Basically, was given a final warning, and think I may genuinely get laid off.
I've been trying to look into new positions in case I do get let go, but the positions I’ve seen mainly want at least 2-3 years experience. How do you find a new job in general with less than a year of experience?
Also, for context, insurance defense is one of the last things I'd want to do. I'm absolutely miserable in a toxic
I’ve suspected I’ve had POTS for some time now, but used to live in a smaller area so there weren’t great potential diagnosis or treatment options available.
Now that I’m in NYC, does anyone have recommendations for starting the diagnosis and treatment process? It’s daunting, and between insurance or doctors not taking insurance, finding someone who is taking new patients, and the wait time to get into a doctor, it’s overwhelming.
Any help is appreciated!
*I also suspect I may have hEDS too, or instead of POTS, if that helps.
Long story short - undiagnosed adhd until recently. I took the bar this past July, and I just took the February exam. I’m positive I didn’t pass and have been crying ever since day 1 of the exam. I really struggle with timing and focus (among other things), and worried I failed and I will loss my job as a result. I didn’t finish the second MPT at all or the last two MEEs (or the MBEs).
Does anyone have any insight into trying to get accommodations after not having gotten them previously? I had adhd growing up but I don’t have any formal diagnosis or doctors notes (I’m a woman so my symptoms were “less obvious”). I did well in grade school and undergraduate because they weren’t that difficu
Does anyone know of any panty liners that don’t have carcinogens, PFAS, arsenic, lead, etc?
I have seen some websites listing the few pads and tampons that don’t, but I haven’t found any sources or studies that list nontoxic panty liners.
Are they not selling cocktail hours tickets for March? I wanted to make sure I’m there for the first loop and it would be nice to be there for cocktail hour, but I don’t see tickets listed.
Best study spaces around Fidi and battery park city?
I’ve been to Brookfield place but there generally aren’t outlets around. Same goes for some coffee shops or either very limited or no seating.
McNeal closes on November 24 so I’m wondering if a last minute ticket for $$$ is worth it.
I’ve seen mixed reviews about it. If it’s a show you’ve seen that you shouldn’t miss please let me know!
In general, now what?
Any tips on how to manage studying with a full time job? When should I start studying?
On another note, I read about taking my UBE score to another state to get barred there first. Does anyone know more about this?
I’m trying to gauge my options and the best strategies moving forward.
