I live in NYC, but I'm working in Chicago this summer, and literally day I see at least one bus get stuck in an intersection and block traffic (I work in the Loop). Worst of all, this frequently happens when the bus tries to catch a yellow left turn arrow but gets caught because of all the pedestrians. This is completely baffling to me and seems entirely preventable.

My parents are visiting from out of town and I have to meet them for drinks. Can anyone recommend cocktail bars that accept reservations, especially midtown or below. I already checked Dear Irving. Thanks!

Sorry if this has been asked a bunch before, but what is the construction that's being done at west 4th street? I see a bunch of building materials around, plus obvious signs of construction as the a/c is pulling into the station, but i'm not quite sure what the point is.

Hey, so I need to send someone a bunch of matchbooks (long story). Can anyone recommend dive bars that have their own matchbooks, preferably in the lower east side or east village, but anywhere in lower Manhattan or north Brooklyn is fine.
