There is a new plan to put an arterial road (highway) where a significant portion of the Southern Walnut Creek Trail is. This is an Austin City Council agenda item slated for quick action this Thursday, May 21st. The ACTION ALERT instructions are in the last paragraph below.

A plan at Austin City Council this week includes a conceptual map with a major roadway to be placed on top of a significant portion of the Southern Walnut Creek Trail (SWCT).

I saw the items for the agreement and annexation of the Dog's Head on the May 21st Austin City Council Agenda. Item #38 has some informative backup materials.

On the recommendation of some friends, I got the app and bought loop bands. Generally I am very positive of the app, particularly because it intelligently provides a good exercise plan that I don't have to think about, but the app has recommended 0 loop band exercises.

I've tried playing with settings and using the "Refresh workout" functionality but have not seen any loop band exercises.

Settings:

  • Available Equipment = (Dumbbells, Decline Bench, Flat Bench, Incline Bench, Common Loop Bands)
  • Bodyweight-Only Workouts = Off
  • Fitness Goal = Muscle Tone
  • Weightlifting Experience = Intermediate
  • Circuits and Supersets = On
  • Cardio Recommendations = Off
  • Warm-up & Cool-down = Off (but

I recently bought a Razer Pro Type Ultra. The F1-F12 keys also act as media keys, brightef keyboard backlight, etc... My problem is that to press F6 I have to press both the fn + F6 keys, and this is incredibly annoying for software debugging, since many IDEs use the F1-F12 keys as shortcuts for the debugger.

So is there a way to lock the fn key or reverse how the fn key works?

I bought a gravel bike as my first adult bike, but realistically, I mainly ride asphalt bike paths when I have the choice, then suburb and city streets significantly and occasionally go drive to find some gravel. I would like to both upgrade to road tires and get a better wheelset on there.

I currently have an All-City Space Horse frame with Shimano Sora components and the following wheelset:

  • Alex Adventurer 2 rims
  • 6 bolt disc brake
  • No idea what the hub is and can't find any visible markings without completely disassembling the wheel
  • Surly Knard 650Bx41 tires - Clincher, gravel tires

I'll keep the above as a gravel wheelset I can swap on when occasionally going on gravel rides
