This is stupid, I’ve passed 2 driving tests now by leaving the roundabout in the right lane and into the left lane of the road I’m going into. Cars and busses.

My HGV instructor flat out told me that that is wrong (not just for lorries but for cars and busses too) and that I’d fail any driving test for it. After telling her that I’ve done that on both my car and bus test so far she proceeded to tell me that I’m still wrong, and that it is very much not how roundabouts are supposed to be handled.

How were you taught/how do you teach/would you as an examiner fail either of these?
