the secondary winds, the cold breezes that come and go why do they get to follow the sun and i don’t?

i have been dangerously close skirting the surface, eternal storm why do they all get to land safely when i simply won’t?

it’s a craving, a need programmed deep within my bones why can’t i stretch my arms and reach up while everyone else does so?

it’s a disability, they say a permanent scar, always in pain why does the moon get to sleep in the sun? i cry, writing this. it’s a feeling i’ll never know.
