Hey r/Hamilton

So, we had a fire that started on our apartment balcony last Saturday. We are at 100 Forest avenue which is managed by Effort Trust and were not home at the time.

Apparently someone from above threw a cigarette butt which landed in a planter on our balcony and caught. The planter melted and there was some damage to items on the balcony but the fire didn't enter the apartment. The smoke, however, did and and our place now smells like a bonfire. We have good insurance to cover replacement and cleaning of our belongings but we're dealing with Effort Trust now and it's a bit of a headache.

Apparently, they are not liable for anything (says it in the lease). So any carpet clea

I'd like to plan some run/stair/run workouts on my fenix 2 and I'm wondering what settings I should use for the activity.

I plan to run 1-2km; do 2-3x300 outdoor stairs, and then run back. Some say that "indoor run" is most effective for stairs, and some have had had luck with simply "run." Or, should I make the workout two separate activities?

I ask because fenix 2 has a VO2Max feature which tracks your output (with a HR monitor) as you run, and I'm afraid that introducing a stair workout in the middle of a run will throw it off. Any feedback would be appreciated!

I'm a teacher and I'd like to buy some nice posters of France for my classroom. I checked around limeridge but most stores only offer pop-culture selections. Would anyone know where to find posters of nice scenery? Thank you!

I'm not sure if such a word exists but here are some examples:

If I go on a mountainbike ride and crash, when we get home, one person will say to another who wasn't there, in my presence, "yeah, a_max thinks he's superman on the bike... etc" Kind of backhanded-like.

Or on a more unrelated note, lets say someone is a bit bigger. Someone may always call this person a tank, or say that they're super strong, to the point it becomes insulting.

Any ideas?

It shows a picture of a plastic water bottle, has a blueish background, and has quotes like:

"100% of rapists drink water, therefore water is bad" and "Large amounts water can cause excess urination, sweating, and even death!" All just general negative things about water.

I don't remember the exact title, but it was something like: "This is why we need to teach people to think critically!" something along those lines.

I wanted to save it and use it for a propaganda project I'm doing for university but reddit went down when I tried and I can't find it now. If someone knows what I'm talking about or could track it down, I'd be really appreciative.

Thank you!
