One thing I get off a decent ringer is whatever I’m listening to increasing in tempo for a minute or so, then staying sped up until it mellows out and I settle into the buzz, and just a second ago I realized I’ve never heard anyone else mention that happening to them. Y’all ever had your tunes go double time on you?

Been playing hardtails for about 15 years, traded for a cheapo Jackson with a Floyd cause that sort of thing has always been missing from the toolkit, but I’ve found I can’t pick fast on it. Comparing the feel to one of my other guitars, I guess I never realized just how much pressure I put on the bridge with my palm playing fast riffs, and obviously I can’t do that with a floating bridge. Am I missing something, or do I just need to sit down with a metronome and pick with a floating hand instead of an anchored one?

For what it’s worth, I’m well aware I’m a sloppy player, just never thought it would bite me in the ass.

I just got a ZPAP and threw a real cheap sling on it. If I try to carry it in front of me like I do an AR, it wants to flip over on me and sit upside down and unbalanced. Any fix for that?
