I declared a minor for amath as a senior, and I am worried about not being able to secure a spot in amath courses. I only have couple quarters left, so I can’t just be like “well the class filled up, let’s try next quarter”.
I noticed amath 351 and 352 are filled, but it’s well past registration 2, so it’s hard to tell. Do you guys think if I register asap when the registration period opens, completing the minor is feasible?
thank you!

The following appliances are malfunctioning since moving in:
-
Timer for the dryer - Maintenance came total of 3 times and fixed a nonfunctional dryer to somewhat functional. The dryer runs, but either ends too early or doesn’t end at all. Someone has to be home to manually restart the dryer or end it.
-
Electric issues - Microwaving sometimes cuts power to outlets in the same circuit. But we can prevent this by turning off the lights and unplugging appliances from the living room (a computer and floor lamp) before microwaving
-
Ice machine in fridge - fridge works fine, I can live without ice.
I can accommodate these things and my lease only requires mandatory maintenance repo
I am kind of paranoid. I really do not want to attend more quarters because I couldn’t find a professor to sponsor :( Has anybody succeeded in getting a faculty sponsor for a last minute Capstone project? I took a really long getting faculty sponsors for the project, prepping materials and re-learning concepts. I feel like I wouldn’t be reaching out to professors until July.
I am aware that the contract isn’t due until September, but a lot of professors are MIA during Summer ( I THINK ) unless they are teaching this summer ( I looked on myPlan and not a lot of them are teaching). Can professors sponsor multiple student‘s capstone project in the same quarter?
sorry for the rounds of quest
Hi taxpayers, I have an LLC and I pay a CPA to file my 1040 and quarterly reports from me.
It's basically title For the 2023 1040, I gave him $1k to be filed with 1040 as payment towards tax. When I went to check IRS online with IDme, I only see a payment activity of $500 in pending for 4/15/24. However, he says he paid $1001 on his account, not $500. I told him to double check, and same response.
What I am wondering is, is this a common glitch/error on IRS side or is this guy punking me for $500? I honestly can't see why he would, so I am leaning more towards that this is a common issue. Has anyone experienced something similar?
Ever since I was in middle school, (I am 23 now) I get a mild concussion every time I fall. The fall could be as light as a small scratch on the knee, but I would get extremely nauseous with intense headaches and throw up. From these symptom, I just concluded that it’s a concussion (I never went to get this checked out). I was thinking maybe this is a case of “long post concussion syndrome” but the first concussion that triggered it all was VERY mild (a slight abrasion on my palm while I was playing tag). I still get them even though my last concussion was over 2 years ago. I get them every time I fall. Fall on my arms, hands, ass, elbow, knees, never on my head. I am aware that indirect imp
Apartment refusing to give back holding deposit after getting denied
Hello, ApartmentLiving! I am currently in a very frustrating situation.
I applied for an apartment on Feb 27 with a $500 holding deposit. We got denied at March 9. Since March 9 (today is April 13), I have been fighting with them to send my holding check. They keep giving me typical and lame excuses. Blaming it on other departments, “we sent the check and got it processed TODAY” but never receiving them etc. I almost think they’re just waiting for me to give up 🤷♂️ not sure why, $500 is pennies to them.

I got approved for an apartment on March 21 (about 10 days ago). But the leasing office has yet to send me a welcome letter listing all the deposits with a move-in date. When asked, this is because the unit is currently going through a major renovation (I checked, they are) that will last until middle of May so they are unsure of the exact move-in date. The move-in date is unofficially set to 5/17 on their website. Everything feels like its up in the air.
This makes me worried because my lease at my current place ends in June, so I HAVE to sign a lease at a different place before June. The new apt DID assure me that the move-in date will not be pushed to June, and that they will provide
I have an on-going SaaS project I am planning on to use for my college capstone project. It is basically a chrome extension where people can filter content on YouTube. For the capstone requirement, I need to find a sponsor who can benefit me as a developer to give me advice for features. As in return, I create a software they want.
I was thinking for this project, I can potentially reach out to organizations like schools (for their chomebooks, as you can set chrome extensions as a policy) but since schools are an enterprise, it is almost impossible to have them as a sponsor for the project. I guess I can always reach out to my boss who can't keep himself out of Youtube Shorts, but he is th
I was at a kickback with some of my close friends 2 days ago. At the end of the kickback my friend (I’ll call her J) asked for a ride home as her original ride had to leave early. I was totally okay with this, but I was worried about her being in my car.
I have a very bad fear of bugs. Because of that, I bug bomb my car every season (every 3 ish months), fill it with mothballs, spray every inner/outer inch with Ortho max and use a chlorine diffuser placed on the dashboard. I understand that my car is a gas chamber on wheels, but my reasoning is that it’s better to cut my life by 3-5 years compared 50 years in a deadly car accident. (I almost killed my myself multiple times endangering mysel

API requests
-
processing payment
-
Hosting a landing site (where I would process payment)
-
simple database functionality to record user info
I looked at posts with similar questions and came across lots of mentions of DigitalOcean, AWS, Render, fly.io, etc. I do not think I can go with serverless since the server needs to up all the time.
For my app, every users (even freemium users) will have to use the server, so I was looking for a product that offers free services for the first X amount of users. Each API response will cost about 2MB of data so it’s not little at all… I could always
