Tonight I took my dog to a brand new neighborhood and we walked for miles. Later, we were coming upon the street that would bring us back to our neighborhood and my dog took that path without hesitation. How did he know where to go? This is my first dog ever but not the first time I have seen him seemlesly guide us back home. Are they able to do this on scent alone or do they have a compass in their heads that surpasses my own and which I am unaware of? I am a new owner, if you guys are used to this wow. I no idea dogs were more competent than humans when it came to geo location.

Is a veteran required to salute, or even allowed to salute, an active duty member whose rank is superior to the veterans at the time the veteran was discharged?

If not required, but allowed, is there a social custom that this should occur? I am thinking of maybe an active duty high ranking officer visiting a VA center to give a speech or visit with vets. Or maybe even a high ranking vet addressing lower ranked vets. Thanks for your answers.

Hello, I am dealing with a family court matter involving my daughter. My ex has filed numerous CPS investigations against me. All of them were determined in my favor, unfounded. Yet, she has been able to obtain a protective order from the court, preventing me from even speaking to my daughter, by lying to the court. She has poisoned my daughter against me. I myself am a lawyer and cannot believe how rigged the system is towards fathers. Does anyone know of a mens right group I can contact for support in NYC? I am losing hope.
