ORIGINAL Superman (1978) ad artwork

I remember very clearly that the original ad artwork (and likely the poster artwork as well) for the 1978 Superman film with Christopher Reeve featured the multicolored streak through the sky but importantly WITHOUT the Superman logo.

I remember thinking at the time how cool that was that they were so confident in the film that they could have a Superman film without the actual Superman logo or showing Superman himself.

I'm guessing that didn't get the desired results so they added the Superman logo. (as can be seen here

I'm in NYC and I got a call from a Virginia number saying they are Detective Whatever from Somewhere County VA, and asked me if I know a "Judy MylastName" I said I didn't, they then asked if I knew anyone in Somewhere County Virginia, I also said no and that was it.

When retelling about this call, folks have been insisting it's a scam. I don't see how this could play out as a scam.

Thoughts?

I need a Roomba that will work in a dark, carpeted basement.

I want to be able to schedule the Roomba to clean the basement when I'm not home, and the lights are not on.

Suggestions?

Basically, it's just one big room of about 500 sq.ft. of wall-to-wall carpet. The only "complications" are two support columns in the middle of the room.

So, it's a pretty simple use case for a robot vacuum.

Thoughts?
