Recently, a person on this subreddit dropped a word that I think defines the difference between those who loved the ending of TP3 and those who were disappointed by it: 'character-driven'. As in, the plot has to be character-driven for some viewers to care and feel engaged. They care about what happened to Audrey and Lucy and Andy and Red. Perhaps even Chad.

I don't belong to this category, and I think it might be hard for viewers of the type I described to fathom a different perspective, so I want to provide it.

Remember Eraserhead. While it is a deeply personal story, to me, it isn't about the characters at all. I don't emphathize with them. It's about a very alien world that lives by it

This is the only allusion to Audrey's story we get in E18. A lot of theories floating around, and some of them explain what happened in E18 really well. But I haven't seen anyone theorize as to why The Arm repeats the same line as Audrey did before. Especially since the scene with The Arm partially repeats E1, and this line is one of the few differences.

I would actually be fine with just assuming Audrey was in a coma and snapped out of it when Cooper broke time. But The Arm repeating her words hints at a more meaningful connection between her and the main plot.

I know it's also the name of a movie, but it's unclear to me as to what relevance it has to the story of TP.

Any good theories a

Did anyone else notice that Mr. Todd, the guy who we've only seen sitting behind his desk for the whole show, seems to be missing his whole lower half? Like, he's just half a man on a chair? (Pic courtesy of u/niandra3)

Seeing how he was communicated with by Mr. C by watching a square on a screen, it's no big surprise that he's not entirely human.

Also I guess there is a possibility that his legs somehow got stuck in a horizontal position, but that doesn't make the image any less creepy.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I don't think there's a chair either. The chair leg is from the one to the right of him, mirroring the chair on our side of the table.

"It's a boss whose name you'll recognise from elsewhere" was a perfect one—it hypes me up while not giving anything away. "You'll learn more about angels" would be a good one too, although borderline too direct. Please no particular names or straightforward descriptions!

I am spoiler-averse but want a little hype too.

Thank you, Ashen Many.
