I have a schluter ditraheat radiant floor in my bathroom.
It’s failed after a year. I tested my resistive cable and have open circuit.
Is there a way to figure out where the cable break is without ripping up an entire floor?
Schluter said they would send someone out to assess if it’s covered under warranty. The company who called to come do it said it would be almost $1000 in just travel to come and I would need to pay the travel.
Looking for a diy method to locate the break.
For what it’s worth, it would cost me less than $1000 to rip up the floor and replace it. I’d rather just do a few tiles though.
