I grabbed a pine cone from a long leaf pine tree from Florida and brought it back to New Jersey. The seeds I pulled from it don't look like much. Can someone tell me if they can germinate? Here's the picture.
So my three monitors:
And I have ASRock Z790 Steel Legend motherboard, here's its backpanel.
So I have to use DP for the XB271HU to get proper refresh rate on it (otherwise, it's 60Hz via HDMI) and I use HDMI for one of the VH242H. However apparently, I can't just plug an HDMI-to-USB-C cable in
Wondering if some attention is being spent on getting network code to handle large number of players. Whether 100 of people doing some form of RTS battle royale. Or thousands of people participating in some sort of in-gate online events.
Perhaps hardcore RTS fans here hate fortnite. But those social modes can bring a lot of general gamer attention. And hopefully it'll also bring completely new game modes if you give modders opportunity to join 100 of people into a single game.
On the tangent here, maybe real-time in-game spectating pro tournaments can add something more to the game than a regular twitch stream.
Aside from other breaking changes, v-model is the one that sets me off the most. Our project is 200+ components, around a quarter of them have v-model and most of the rest use those components. Sometimes via v-model, sometimes with @input event, occasionally with both.
I'm not looking forward to rewriting all of this mess. What are your plans for Vue 2 -> 3 transition for medium-to-large projects?
I'm seriously considering delaying it as much as possible, perhaps waiting until intermediate bump to 2.7 and putting my faith (praise be!) in some automated upgrade tools that were promised in the roadmap.
Just got a pair of Life Q30 yesterday. Connected them to my PC via bluetooth. Simple playback of youtube videos seemed okay.
But today after talking for about 8 minutes over Slack web app (in Edge browser) the other person's voice became choking noises once in couple of seconds. I disconnected the call but no sound would work from any windows app. So it doesn't seem like Slack or a browser problem. I had to turn off the headset and turn it back on for it to start working again. I called again, but the same thing happened, this time in three minutes. I had to drop the new headset and connect my oldie 3.5mm wired one.
No such problems with another bluetooth headset on the same PC. Any ideas?
I ordered XG-7100 1U on Cybermonday's 20% off sale. It arrived all scratched up looking like it was used for years in multiple racks. Here are some pics. Notice, not just scratches, but how even some internal pin header peeking out through front vents looks significantly worn out as if it was plugged and unplugged multiple times.
I started a support ticket about this, they responded that I should return the unit and that they'll try to get "the same day turnaround" shipping a new unit as soon as that one arrives. So I shipped it back.
They got the unit more than two weeks ago (Dec 16) and only today I got the response that they checked the unit, it works and
