Any ideas? Don't want to buy an FXRT/P Replica for big money. Thinking about finding an older vetter fairing and seeing if I can try fixing that on myself or have brackets custom fabricated for it, but not sure how that'd work. I see these windjammers, liberators far cheaper on facebook than any other kind. I'd rather take my chances with that than a cheapo replica you could get for $3-500. As far as I know, any quality modern reproduction will run me over $1,000. No fork mounted fairings because of personal preference.

Honestly, I don't even need a fairing my upper body never gets tired on the highway, but I'd like to see what it's like. Only thing that gets me is the wind at my legs on l

Friend of mine has a horrible microphone, I can't understand what he's saying half of the time. Posting here in case anybody has something left over they could spare to support the guy as an option before heading to other secondhand markets because what's here is typically higher quality.

Looking to spend some $15-30 shipped.

Seen it on craigslist, I really like the look of it. Craigslist listing says it's a "National Cycle Plexistar fairing (painted to match bike) with windshield pouch." Looking this up online, all I can really find are clear ones that resemble glass. Is that really what this is, but just painted? Would be dope if something like this existed in metal.

"I have lived in Arizona more than 90 but less than 730 days. How do I file using exemptions from my previous state of residence or federal exemptions?"

- Elderly friend who asked me to post this on his behalf

Any help would be appreciated

I’m filing for chapter 7 in Arizona. I have 6500 in debt and assets 3000 to be exempted. Would this fly? Also how in depth and thorough are trustees abilities to investigate you? Text messages? Phone calls, CCTV?

Got a bit of deadplay, neutral to 1st are fine. In higher gears, shifting sometimes bounces back or shifts down without my input. This may be a transmission problem, but I don't think so because this happened shortly after having a shifter bolt snap off and getting that fixed with replacement bolts that held up for some time.

Yes, I'm aware that the area is filthy. I ride in poor weather conditions frequently. Cleaning and lubricating may help, but I wanted more input in case there's something I am missing. First bike, near 0 mechanical knowledge.

Hey, to make it quick, what's a good boot to buy for hours of hiking?

Should anyone care about context, my pair of Timberlands is tearing up now. It really is a good boot, they're still waterproof and comfortable, my mom bought them for me a while ago too, so for those reasons I still wear them daily.

This summer I'll be hiking and camping a lot to try and improve my navigational skills for a job related purpose, I don't trust that the Timberlands will be up for it. My choice of clothing recently has been more American made items, I like the craftsmanship using organic materials and metal, so I think that American boots might reflect that. As I'm a college student, I'll probably be buying

Hey, I've got into biking from riding a motorcycle. The whole two wheel framework is a lot of fun, but riding a motorcycle isn't really physically demanding. I don't work out, play sports, or do anything physical outside of work, really, so I decided to buy a mountain bike.

Whether or not I bought one for a fair price, I don't know. I'd been sending offers out for 2 weeks until I gave up and settled on something outside of my intial budget (Wow, this hobby is a lot more expensive than I thought.) Learned little during that time, but looked into frame materials. I'm a dumbass and I expect I may damage my bike because of a lack of skill, so I just bought the first bike that fits my height

Close up of what I gotta get rid of

Hey, I can't start my motorcycle, as I've got a battery problem. I want to check out the battery area, but to do that, I need to remove my seat. For that, I need to unscrew this 5mm (Pretty sure) allen screw that keeps the seat down. Can't tell if I stripped it, don't know how to go about this anymore. I tried to use an L shaped allen key instead, that did not work. Other things I've tried include using electri

New rider, using it to practice. Was out for a ride in a place far from people to practice, was getting gear shifting down, getting that clutch control, and turning down. Ended up stopping, still getting used to the whole left foot down thing, even though I can easily flat foot the bike. Anyway, I like the noob I am lost balance once stopped and putting my left foot down. The bike tipped over and I tried to catch it, but it was too late. I only helped ease the fall by applying opposite force, it tipped over gently. No visible exterior damage, not even a scratch I could see.

After picking it back up, it wouldn't start. There was a battery indicator on the screen. Later on, the lights dimmed

Here's the bolt I lost while riding, might've stripped the bottom thread, because I had tried to put it back in, and it wasn't tight. Once I had it somewhat stable, I left it. Took it out for a ride, it fell out. No idea what to search to find a replacement, I've never really been mechanically inclined and hardly know what it's called.

My specific model is a 2019 vulcan s abs, not the one pictured. And say I stripped the plastic thread, any suggestions on what to do?

NOT my motorcycle, this is another user's who I am using as an example

Recently, I was asked to leave the MSF basic rider course I enrolled in on the first day shortly after 3 hours of instruction. I was told that I was taking up too much time and my turning was poor. That surprised me, hearing that during the break, because I felt as though I improved a great deal from when we first started, and I was just starting to get comfortable. Additionally, of the people who signed up, only 3 showed up including myself. The other two had a tiny bit of motorcycle experience and were doing better than me. We were on Rebel 300s.

I spent around $300 on that course and was asked by the instructor to come back, because I'd get it for sure next time. I have my doubts wit

Hey, I've been looking into purchasing a dual sport motorcycle recently. Soon, I'll take the MSF course, and purchase a motorcycle shortly afterward. Jumped around from wanting a cruiser or a naked bike, but for my intentions I think a dual sport would be the best. Both studying and working in the city, I often deal with horribly made cobble roads, gravel, etc. Dual sports seem to have everything I value, range, suspensions and design capable of handling poor terrain, good mpg, and they're affordable. They're fast enough to handle the highway too, though it seems many of them don't come with windshields from the factory.

I'm thinking of buying an older BMW 700GS (2013+, so it comes w/ ABS)
