So lately I have noticed a issue with Plex involving MKV files. I am unable to have Plex load subtitles for random shows and I don't know why. One show will work fine, but won't show the subtitle label. It will jist say something like "English (PGS)" even though I went through and updated the labels. Another show will show the subtitles, but never use them or load them. I don't have this issue at all when using VLC, and I don't know what would make some shows work but not others. I try to keep to the same method of ripping my media consistent to avoid issues like this. I even have been looking online for a while, but at this point I'm better off watching my shows off my PC via VLC tha

So had to repair my Odin Pro because the right should button broke. After that I can't seem to get one side of the shell to close completely and the back button is now flush with the shell. It's not a technical issue just a annoying one because I don't know if there was something I missed. I included a couple of pics. I did reopen it to make sure the switch to the right shoulder button didn't fall in. I didn't see it nor do I hear rattling.

Side note: Always glad when companies who make hardware sell repair parts. Gonna throw some respect at AYN for that one.

So I'm curious on dumping a few of my carts that I have because I don't know if the games in question will be on Steam or just off the Vita(Like Demon Gaze 2, also because I'm just been trying to archive my stuff). Following the guide for Vita3K on dumping the cart I am stuck at installing the FAGDec package. I get the 0xFFFFFFFF error and assumed it was a bad transfer over FTP. So I downloaded the pgk from the github again and tried to transfer it over. Same error as before, so I'm not sure if there is something I'm missing.

For extra info my Vita is modded on firmware 3.65 and everything is running on a Vita2SD card using the YAMT Installer.

So right now I have my Steam Deck set up with syncthing to cloud save my game saves between multiple devices. I have it working pretty well on all devices I want it on. The problem is on the Steam Deck I had to change the default save folder to a folder in my Document folder.

I know the save folder Emudeck makes is a sym link, so I used the actual folder it pointed to. However that doesn't seem to work, and syncing doesn't take place. It's not a big deal, but I was wondering if I'm missing something because I would like to keep the save location at default.

So I'm newish to NAS's and the like. I have a Synology currently, and it pretty much works well. After a recent update to my main PC I wanted to take some of my old parts to make a new custom NAS. It would be a significant upgrade from my current setup (plus a chance to get a better understanding on how this all works).

The thing I'm trying to figure out is scaling up by adding more drives possible after making the volume? I was reading up on TrueNAS and ZFS as a option. It seems it can support that ability, and RAIDZ2 would be a good option for redundancy. I'm kinda curious on how people feel about that as a option, or if there are other solutions I'm not finding.

So I recently updated Amber Elec and I can not stand these themes. It is making it annoying to navigate patched games, or even games with long titles that end with a number. This wasn't a issue before, but now the screen is split in half to show media. I want to know is there a way to just get a full screen again?

I'm about to go through a comb through of my samples this weekend while working on my media stuff. What would be the best way to name samples for the Model Sample? I wanna try to a consitant naming scheme for multiple sample devices I have. Just not sure how to approach it to be honest.

So I'm trying to learn how to setup midi with my launch pad controller. I have the Model Sample manual and found the CC values listed. With my Launch Pad Pro I know to set the Midi channel and the Midi CC, but I don't know what values to send. Like LFO Waveform has a CC of 106, but what value do I send to select?

So I recently picked up a Zoia and I'm loving it. Currently I have been looking for a inbetween cord for the power supply and the pedal. So I can turn on the pedal with a simple button push. I'm not fond of plugging and unplugging stuff if I can help it. The best I can find is a usb c bird cord to go with a inline switch I already have. Not sure if there are other better solutions.

So I have Dig set up and it works fine for most systems except for Playstation. I am using .m3u files to help keep things organized and for ease of use with multi disc games. Problem is Dig doesn't seem to be using the m3u files, and is pulling the bin/cue file. Which is making Dig also merge everything together

On the other hand I'm also trying Arc Browser and while it pulls the m3u it's pulling everything together. So for one entry it has everything, even a modded version of a game. Like with Dig

for reference this is my structure so maybe I'm doing something wrong.

So I'm helping with a project dealing with triggering real time audio effects using a Raspberry Pi. I've looked around, and found a few that did the effects I was looking for. During this search I came across Ecasound, and it sounds the most promising. Reading the manual about interactive mode seems like what I want, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm trying to figure out, is it possible to set up a chain with different effects. Creating a pedal board that loops a audio source turning off and on effects in real time?

If Ecasound isn't suited for this, what would be a better alternative? Thank you for taking time to read this post.
