I asked my dad why trucks have to pump septic tanks and he said a bunch of stuff but basically I understood its because the poop and paper and whatever doesn't break down. A composting toilet breaks down everything but stinks like an outhouse. Why can't we flush toilets to a composting area instead of septic? Then just let the extra water go into the ground? Please dont be mean. I actually want to learn.
I keep seeing these videos pop up saying sunflowers take out heavy metals and toxins from the soil. But then what do you do with the sunflowers? I don't want to feed them to my animals or put it in the compost pile. Do you burn them? Take them to the landfill or what?
My name's Ashley and I homeschool while traveling with my parents. My dad said I can invite friends over while traveling and he can also drop me off if you want to go shopping or maybe swimming? I like museums, art galleries, window shopping, you name it. Hiking is probably too hot unless we go super easy. Any suggestions?
My dad is clearing the land one acre at a time and he cuts down all the little trees, leaving only a few big trees. Then we burn everything. I feel like it's kind of a waste if we could save the word for firewood or decompose it for compost. He says it's just the fastest way to get rid of material that will turn into housing for pests. What do you think?
