I'm looking at an '04 KTM 250 EXC 4-stroke - looks super clean! But after I tore down my '03 Husky TE610, I'm wary of being unable to find parts. Not a lot shows up on ebay, kibblewhite, wiseco for engine parts for that model year, but there's quite a bit more for other years and variants with the 250 RFS.

My curiosity is whether the engine components (valves/valvetrain, piston, rod, why not the crank as well) are shared between model years.

This one came to me a long time ago, just sharing it now.

Hi all, I have question targeted at those who have some experience designing flexible printed circuits (FPC).

When designing with SMT components and FPCs, is it inadvisable to mount components to unstiffened sections of FPC?

Background: The largest component in my design is a 6x6mm QFN, and while others on my team want to go to flex (because it actually would be appropriate in other ways), I'm not sure I can do this without compromising the robustness of the overall circuit - I'm worried about lifted pads and other damage that could happen during flexing.
