I'm rereading Swords of Night and Day and early in the book where Skligannon gives Snaga to Harad, I got the feeling that this would probably be the best novel to make into the launchpad for the series. The dynamics around the story make me think that it would be really, really good.

I know some nerds are gonna be like "it should be Legend", but the first novel just isn't that good a start. You get an old Druss, and it's all war and Dros Delnoch, and stuff...very hack and slash.

With SoNaD, you start off with a fair bit of mystery, some Jiamads that would be fun if the costumes/effects don't suck, you get to see a young Druss and Skilgannon, and introduce them to the viewers with the whol

Nobody liked the improv ending I came up with in my old post so I refined it. Someone tell me if the story at least is good:

In the grim wake of the Keltoi’s defiant rout of Stone’s iron legions, as carved in the saga of Midnight Falcon, Bane, a warrior sculpted from the jagged shards of abandonment and bitterness, stands on fields soaked with blood. His soul, a forge of restless fire, burns for Lia, the Veiled Lady, whose love glimmers like a star fading at dawn. Rumors whisper she has fled to the White Mountains, a realm where the divine brushes the mortal world. Bane, his heart a blade honed by loss, swears to find her. His path, as David Gemmell would etch it, twists back to Stone, a

Midnight Falcon is one of my favorite Gemmell books and I feel like it still leaves too much unsaid even though the narrative actually covers so much terrain and time. I was wondering if AI could give me a satisfying follow up if I gave it ideas. The quotes are all kind of dumb, and I'd change certain parts but I have to say I'm pretty happy with what I've got. Sharing here for anyone that is also a true rigante.

Blood of the Gladiator Synopsis In the wake of the Keltoi’s victory over Stone’s legions, as chronicled in Midnight Falcon, Bane, the battle-scarred warrior with a soul forged in defiance, stands on fields soaked with the blood of triumph. Yet his heart is restless, yearning f

Just to remind all you rats. One of Conor's taglines in the buildup for MayMac was "I AM BOXING". It's so crazy. This man is higher than Tyson Fury after winning a world title. This man is a smelly rat.

I'm very confused about this fight and there is clearly a lot to be confused about. First and foremost, we have Gennady doing something that is nearly identical to what his red-headed de facto archrival, Canelo did, in bringing up a fucking WELTERWEIGHT for a middleweight title fight. Admittedly, Kell Brook, Khan's de facto archrival is considered by most of us to be the superior of the two, but that's where all kudos and congratulations stop.

Now, I'm a big fan of Golovkin, he's probably my 2nd favorite active fighter after Kovalev. I might even put Fury just ahead of him. But this choice of a fight with Kell Brook is bizarre. So what if Kell Brook is a "huge" welterweight? I know that

Do you fucks really think Eubanks wants any pieces of Golovkin? Maybe his balls, yeah, but that's where it stops. Don't know who thought this shit was really gonna happen. I am still skeptical and I was from the minute those faggot brits opened their moufs.

Hi folks, welcome to the new sub.

This is a boxing subreddit that is intended to provide the answer to the question:

WHERE CAN I GO TO TALK ABOUT BOXING AFTER MAYWEATHER-PACQUIAO FUCKED THE SPORT UP AND BROUGHT IN ALL THESE DUMBASS CASUAL FANS?

Well, r/realboxing, of course.

Keep r/boxing for the fight threads and news, but let's be honest. The discussion over there has gotten amateurish and the mod team is going through menopause, blocking their funniest (me) and realest (/u/no1113) posters over the most random things.

So this is where you should come to have intelligent, entertaining discussions about boxing. No casuals need apply.
