I was having some pain behind my right ear for a few days and didn't think too much of it. I woke up on the morning of the 6th of January 2025 and called in to take off work due to a major snow storm that we had that made it unsafe to drive in. I went back to sleep for a bit and woke up about 9:30am and immediately noticed facial drooping. My wife drove me to the ER where they quickly did a CT scan and diagnosed me with Bells Palsy on the right side. They gave me acyclovir 400mg 5 times a day and prednisone 20 mg 3 times a day (60mg) for a week. It was a downer but hey, at least it wasn't a stroke....I remained in good spirits and quickly followed up with my doctor. Week goes by and th

I am looking to get a press tool. I am not in the trade but do plumbing work on a few houses I own and some relatives. I can't see myself buying an expensive Milwaukee setup and would like to get something under or right around a grand. These three are the best alternative I could find. What would you choose and why?

My 2012 Ram 1500 ST greeted me this morning with a click click click click and there more than a few times prior where it seemed like it didn't want to turn over so I figured it must be that time. Last battery lasted 7 years (I bought the truck a year ago) going by the date on it. I decided to go AGM this time and also was seeing on a forum where people were buying the Everstart from WalMart. I suppose they all take the H7 but many are choosing to go with the H8 although there is supposed to be a tab in the tray that you have to remove to make more space. I got the H8 but found there was no tab in mine and it didn't look like it would fit and indeed it didn't because the tray has these r

4th gen ram. Is there a way to make it so when you turn off the vehicle, the radio turns off immediately rather than having to open the door? I installed a Start-X remote start and when I remote start and then stop it, the radio continues to play and play on until the dang door is opened.

I know quite a few people like getting the cup holder insert for the center seat back to give them closer and more holders for stuff. I also know that the hinge most of the time will no longer close when you push it on. I extended my hinge with a few washers and wanted to show people how easily all this stuff comes apart. The only thing you will likely need to get is two new screws which I would recommend once you take the hinge off, go to your big box and find a few that will work (of if you are like me and have tons or screws, find some that fit and cut to size.

I was having an issue with my 2012 where some of the lights on the cluster were not displaying (RPM, Fuel, top two middle ones) but the speedo light was fine. So I did the easiest thing and pushed in the fuses and bam, now they are working fine again. When I was researching new and used replacements however, I saw a few where they got clusters near the same mileage and literally waited until they hit that EXACT mileage before they changed (nevermind the hours don't match). So what I want to know is, DOES this HAVE to be done? Were they saying this due to LEGAL reasons? If I put a cluster in that shows 110K miles and mine has 90K....will it malfunction or not work? Why would you put a cl

My sons 2011 tc went into the shop for experiencing all manner of issues. Things like the Speed and Tach not working, AC not working, ABS light coming on, all manner of communication failure codes. It goes into the shop and with certainty they diagnosed a bad ABS control module/pump. They ordered a new one and replaced (fairly involved) and then called to come pick up...$1,500 clams. Almost immediately, the same problems returned. Take it back and this time, they look it over and find that there was an older remote starter and some really cruddy wiring around it with quite a few exposed wires including one that went to the back of the OBDII connection. They clean it up, remove the modu

Man....finding the right bellow was a pain in the patoonyas for this truck. Then when I found one, shipping takes over a week. Steering might/can be different so check yours but using a dig caliper and going through tons of them at a local auto parts store, I found that the one below fit absolutely perfect (you'll need your own ties...the largest ones they had in store worked great). So if you need a new bellow, save a bunch of time and check this one out. Precision Chassis Rack and Pinion Bellows - K150271 at Oreilly's Auto Parts. The outside (engine side) diameter is 57mm and the inside (wheel side) diameter is 16mm (this is 2mm off the shaft size but isn't a problem, goes on easy).
