This election has some really important topics locally including the possibility of increasing our city council pay and mayoral pay. They currently make $45,722 and $61,725, respectively. Hello everyone, this is my girlfriend's resume and I am posting it for her as she does not have an account.

She is currently a student and working for USAA as an insurance adjuster but hates her life due to the long hours and constant beratement from clients (understandable). She is a student, as well, and is pursuing a degree in Accounting which she will finish by the end of the year.

She is looking for general feedback on her resume and if it would be a good, simple resume to submit to a local school district.

She is trying to apply for a specific bookkeeping/payroll clerk position with our local school district and the pay is pretty low compared to her current job but it has relevance

Hello everyone! Just wanted to share my story about my new truck. I needed a truck for my summer job which involves Rocky trails, tons of off-roading, and camping/trekking gear. I settled on a 2017 Tacoma that was around $25,000. However, the salesperson made a comment that they have another one but no one has been interested and it’s been sitting for two months. I asked if it was 4x4 and what was wrong with it and he said, “yes, it is 4x4 but it’s a manual.” The truck was priced at $19,500 and had fewer miles!

I had no idea how to drive manual and I stalled ten times on the way home BUUUUT I’m used to it now and saved around $5,500 on a vehicle purchase! Definitely a frugal win in my book.

Long story short, I grew up doing concrete work and my MIL and FIL asked me about a month ago if I could possibly fix the foundation cracks (all superficial cracks on the outside). I said yes and I fixed them today. However, when letting my MIL know that I fixed the foundation cracks, she was visibly upset because she “wanted to be part of the process.” I’m not sure if she’s ever done anything with concrete before and I’m not really sure what she could have done to help, honestly. Moreover, I didn’t charge them for anything. I did the repair completely for free and was actually pretty excited to do something for them. Am I in the wrong here? Should I have waited?

I am trying to figure out why my PC is consistently crashing with a BSOD. Sometimes, only the game I am playing crashes, as well.

My components are as follows:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

i5-11400F @ 2.60 GHz CPU

24 GB DDR4 RAM G. Skill RIPJAWS

Windows 10 Pro OS

Crash codes have mostly been system_service_exception and memory_management BSODs.

The crashes are not isolated to one launcher or type of gaming. It crashes on Steam, Minecraft, and Cities Skylines with all different launchers. I have no trouble accessing the internet. However, any game crashes after a few minutes of game time. Rarely, the game plays well for a few hours and then the crash happens.
