Toilet Paper

Health & Wellness

Is it worth it buying non toxic toilet paper that usually isn’t sold at Kroger or Publix? Likely would have to order that right?

I am seeing more about how bad standard TP is and am wondering if that’s worth it. It’s usually more expensive than standard TP, too, to my understanding?

Is it really that bad?

For context, this is my second baby and my first was a sensitive sleeper. My baby sleeps great at night with me cosleeping but during the day he wails before naps/ falling asleep. As if being sleepy literally pains him. This is with me holding him, rocking him, nursing him, baby wearing and walking around, etc. I’m trying all the things I can possibly think of to support him and soothe him. And it just seems to be getting worse. I am setting alarms for his wake windows and starting to try to soothe him to sleep beforehand so he doesn’t get overtired. Hearing and seeing him cry so hard is TERRIBLE for me and even my toddler gets really upset about it- especially because I’m trying every

Prurigo of pregnancy is a benign rash w/ tiny itchy bumps on the skin, typically appearing during the second or third trimester.

I started getting this in third trimester, only on my chest. It starts small and progressively worsens over a few days, then dries up and gets better. I’ve tried colloidal oatmeal baths but nothing makes it go away except time. I have it postpartum now and it’s all over my body- so severely itchy!

It is apparently pretty rare so I wanted to ask if any of you have dealt with this and what helped you ?

I just finished Sandokan and liked it more than I thought I would.

I absolutely love period dramas. Some of my favorites are

- Outlander

- Bridgerton

- The Last Kingdom

- Downton Abbey

But I am tired of the royal/ wealthy aristocrat focus. I tried Vikings and it is too evil 🙃 all the killing and r*** is just vile and im done.

Please suggest me something similar to Sandokan or these others!

Hi! I am 35 weeks with my 2nd baby. First was C-section due to breach, after attempting a home birth and laboring for 6 hours. I was pushing once I got to the hospital but, they didn’t care.

Anywho- I am working with a midwife again & attempting a home VBAC. This baby so far is head down and I’ve had 0 issues in pregnancy, praise God!

However I’ve been reading a lot about women getting their incision sites looked at on ultrasounds/ scans & the “thinness.”

That’s never been something mentioned by my midwife. I have had 2 ultrasounds- 1 at 10 weeks and 1 at 20 weeks. No one looked at my incision site specifically, to my knowledge, but also no concerns were raised; everything looked great,

Wondering if anyone else’s child has experienced this?

Our toddler has never been a “good sleeper” and has always woken through the night but lately is waking more frequently and is crying when waking. When he is sleeping he is <b>grinding his teeth pretty bad !! <\b>

What is going on? Does anyone have answers from if their toddler experienced this?

We haven’t confirmed yet but I suspect pinworm is what my toddler has going on 😭 I’ve read it’s very common in toddlers so what can we do proactively to treat? Preferably a natural treatment.

I have Earthley gut health oil last night & this AM (pumpkin seed oil & clove: anti parasitic).

Thank you!!

Does anyone have a cost-effective non-toxic alternative to a Medley sectional? I love the option of latex and wool but the prices are… painful 🥹🥹 I compared the exact size sectional to The Futon Shop and got 10k-12k estimate from an associate.

Non Toxic Baby Bath Tub??

Health & Wellness

Hi there, I’m pregnant with #2 and I’d like to get a more no-tox tub for baby this time. It always made me uneasy putting warm water in the plastic baby tubs for my first. What are y’all using that you feel comfortable won’t leach chemicals into the warm water? Most tubs are made of freakin’ plastic 🤪

Thanks!

I’m wondering if anyone has dealt with this with their toddler?:

I became pregnant this summer and also weaned my toddler shortly after (gently and over a long period of time). We co-slept until he started kicking me and moving upside down, so then just my husband co-slept with him bc I became worried about kicks in my belly near baby.

I also felt horrible first trimester so my husband did spend lotsss of extra time with him once off work. I think that went back to more normal once I felt better in the second.

Anyways, ever since I became pregnant this summer my toddler has became noticeably & increasingly (potentially concerningly) more attached to my husband- understandable, I though

Prenatals ?

Pregnancy & Birth

I am looking for a prenatal that doesn’t smell or taste disgusting and doesn’t have natural flavors or anything else artificial.

Also how bad is it if you don’t take one? I haven’t been taking one , I’m 18 weeks, when I try I gag so bad I’m scared I’ll be sick. (I’ve tried the Needed Prenatal pills). The powder from them had natural flavors..

Thanks!!

Hi,

Coming on here to ask if anyone has seen this in their toddler? Mine is getting a splotchy, raw and red rash around the mouth- worse on the chin. It goes away by morning and comes back around lunch and gets worse by dinner. Repeat.

He doesn’t eat the same lunch every day. He has been having acidic foods lately but I cut them out one day and he still got it. We have no known allergies since starting solids as a baby. We have gone through all the major ones with no reaction.

Other than identifying the cause- what is your tried-and-true salve or topical for rashes? I want to be careful what I apply because it is around the mouth so he will likely eat some of what I put on. I have been u
