I have an old mountain bike frame. I can get the grease and grime off fine.

The problems:

  1. Duct tape was used on several parts which left behind a thick residue. I can't get it off.

  2. Paint or some sort of stain was spilled on parts of the frame. I used a bit of magic eraser and it lightened up a bit. I'm afraid I'll damage the paint if I keep at it.

  3. A couple stickers are on it that I'd like to remove.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm going to buy a socket and ratchet set. I just don't know which one. I'm a DIYer that wrenches on cars and sometimes builds stuff with bolts and lumber, not fine woodworking or anything.

Which set makes sense? Thanks!

  • DIYer
  • Sometimes need to cut a 4x4 at 45 degrees
  • Decent dust collection bag preferred
  • Prefer something compact

I had this Ryobi, but it wasn't able to cut a 4x4 at 45 degrees, and the dust collection was non-existent. It was basically a saw dust spreader.

Thanks!

I need an all-around bike that will work on pavement, dirt, and hills. Primary use is short leisure rides, but I would also love to be take the bike on dirt hills a couple times a month. Flat bar is a must. Thanks!
