I recently came back to STO after a couple years because the game was too big for my laptop. I got it on my X-Box now. I started the play-through and immediately noticed the huge difference from my original playthrough. First interaction with klingons replaced by the borg in a recent update. Don't get me wrong, I understand the want to put some love on the shifting focus of the game in the timeline, but the death of Captain Taggart always struck home with me as a motivation for my original play-through.
"Make... Me... Proud..." those words gave me continual motivation to improve as a player.
But now, Taggart gets assimilated, we save him, and never hear from him again in the main story.
How it usually happens:
Me: "Hey welcome to CFA can I get your name for the order?" Guest: "(Says name)" Me: "Alright what can I get for you today mam/sir." Guest: "nO i HaD a MoBiLe OrDeR!" Me: violent thoughts as this is the exact conversation I've had 5 cars in a row "sorry about that just give me one moment to find the order"
How it should go:
Me: "Hey welcome to CFA, can I get your name for the order?" Guest: "I had a mobile order for...." Me: "Alright I'll get it submitted then"(or whatever alternative works) (Once it's submitted and payment is processed, convo can happen in this time period) "Alright you are good to go, hope you have a nice day/pleasant evening!"
At my location we are usually low staffed or just enough to make it through normally with the regular menu, however with the new sandwich and school starting, we've been at lower staff with almost twice the demand.
People constantly ask for special modifications to the sandwich such as the spicy filet option. Which is already a pain to keep up on orders. This drives the wait time up through the roof.
(I do reccomend trying it with the standard classic filet instead if you haven't, though. Fastest to make and delicious at that.)
Please, be wary of the almost doubled wait time during peak hours due to the sandwich popularity and try to treat employees nicely through the wait for your food
If you ever see that a sign is on a restroom door saying it's under cleaning, that is not a free invitation to go inside. Knock on the door and POLITELY ask to see if you can use it if you actually need to go. Sometimes the employee working the restroom is if the opposite sex so they probably don't want to be in there at the same time as you.
If it's not an emergency, go to the restroom later or at a different place if you have to.
Seriously, had some guests barge in on one of my coworkers when she was cleaning the men's restroom. She said it was closed and they still rushed in to use the restroom.
When someone orders carry out then sits in the corner farthest away from the pickup stand and doesn't hear their name called, only to come 30 minutes later asking for their food when we point out we called their name and it's sitting on the shelf.
Seriously we had a customer yell at us asking why an iPad couldn't go in to get their food when we are required to keep them out at all times.
2 year long employee here, I've noticed over time that the normal packaging actually drains the flavor of the food in a short time frame. Whenever I go on break I put my food on a break plate and eat it that way and the food actually tastes even better than normal, to the point I can't eat much beyond the wraps, nuggets on occasion, and fries when they are pre-packaged. If you ever think the chicken isn't good ad chick-fil-a, I strongly urge you to order the components of the sandwich separately, put it together, and eat it that way. I guarantee the taste will be a little sweeter, just a little bit more delicious, and you will be hooked for life.
(Maybe ask for extra butter on the buns too
