For example you're reading a series, it seems decent then the story turns into something you dislike and end up dropping it several books in, it feels like your time has been wasted. If you had known this was where the story was going you never would have started reading it and it just makes you feel so scammed.

What series has been like that for you?

I'm relatively new to the genre and after reading Cradle and MoL which I really enjoyed I thought this would be the genre for me but unfortunately I'm having trouble finding other series that can match up to that quality with most series I've tried since ending up mediocre or disappointing.

One of the main things that will make me drop a series is if I don't like the MC. Here are some examples of things I do not want to see in the MC:

  • Is an idiot (or intermittently an idiot to create conflict for the plot)
  • Is an asshole
  • Is crass/edgy
  • Inconsistent/nonexistent morals
  • Is not loyal (e.g. juggling multiple love interests, womanizer)
  • Acts like a 5 year old who cannot contr

My octoprint setup has broken for unknown reasons (pi won't connect to network anymore) so I want to reinstall the os but keep all the settings I had (I've already tried other things to fix it but to no avail).

So far I have installed a fresh octoprint on another sd card and it seems to be working fine but I want to get all the settings from the old install. Can I launch octoprint locally on the pi (screen/mouse/keyboard plugged in) to see what my settings are? Are the settings saved in a directory somewhere I can just copy? (Note: as mentioned above it won't connect to the network).

This is the most frustrating thing to me, my characters will starve to death while walking past food storage that is full to the brim. Usually a save and reload will fix it but periodically the issue comes back, It seems to happen after swapping characters to different squads or recruiting new characters but I'm not sure exactly what is causing it.

Currently I have one outpost with 2 squads living in it.

I made the mistake of not using the pacifier while I could and now I can't since I had mishap with Longen and allied with the anti slavers. It seems most of the faction relations building guides I see online involve buying slaves but now I can't do that what am I supposed to do?.

For example lets say I have 600 chests wired up is there an easy way to take red/green wire off all of them without manually cutting each individual connection (and no this is not a repeating pattern of chests I could easily copy/paste to recreate). Maybe I'm missing something obvious but it doesn't seem like the deconstruction planner has wire as an option.
