  • Rose Pizzeria — 1960 University Ave, Berkeley — Probably a favorite pizza place in Berkeley — on the right night the nearby Pizzeria De Laura is better but the room isn't as charming.
  • June's Pizza — 2408 Mandela Pkwy, Oakland — Besides the wood-fired Neapolitan pies at Pizzaiolo, probably the best pizza in Oakland.
  • Pizzaiolo — 5008 Telegraph Ave, Oakland — Pizza / pasta / farm-to-table.
  • Raymond's Pizzeria — 130 Railroad Ave, Richmond — Great pizza parlor in cute little Port Richmond, opened by skater Brad Staba. Draft beers and sick LSD Worldpeace paintings on the walls.
