I know this isn’t a Fear Street book, but so many of you in this community have Stine’s other books like this one, I thought someone might be able to help.

RL Stine’s The Babysitter (1989) in chapter 10, has Jenny telling the phone operator about calling either city or county police, and she tells them the name of the city she’s in. I hoped someone could share that with me.

For instance, it’s changed to “Nouville” for the Quebec adaptation, which is the same name they chose for their Baby Sitter Club adaptation- basically making The Babysitter take place in the same town that The Babysitters Club takes place.
The British version uses a town name, “Harrison.”

Thanks for your hel

Remembering a scene from this movie in my youth: two guys are having pizza together and talking, but realize they made a mistake in eating pizza because they have dates later with two girls. Cutting ahead to that shared date, one or both of the guys pukes with the girls, who are disgusted and leave- they may have been in a van at this point, some larger van or car, of which the girls storm off.
The earlier scene of the guys eating pizza, I recall the last shot being aimed straight down, angel-eye view, of the pizza which looked crappy, dry, and nearly finished-
Any ideas as to what movie this was?

The book by George Allan England shares so much in imagery and plot points: the footprints in snowy ash from inter-dimensional (invisible to us) creatures visiting earth, with death following them in their wake.
Mass death events, scientists researching and suffering existential issues, madness, where you might be alive or dead, things like fire ceasing to work, etc… Didn’t know if anyone knew Kojima cited any homage to this work?

Easy to find on YouTube, a short story.

This was not a superhero comic, and dated from the 60’s/70’s with only around 4 issues or so.

It was about a guy who learns that he has a long lost sister, and goes on adventures to track her down. Her name might be Jessie, I recall the title having something to do with “searching for Jessie” or “where’s Jessie” type of title.

There were henchman who attempt to keep the brother from proceeding, and he has a dirtbike or motorcycle on the comic cover, which he rides from place to place in search for his sister.

It’s truly an obscure comic, I’ve tried searching Marvel’s database… no resource seems to support those decades where comics experimented with non-superhero material.

Thanks ah

Just hoping Godot might support more than webm or ogg as I hoped to build a game primarily using video clips. I use a Mac and the resources to convert videos to these types are a mystery to me, no new forums on the topic. I loved Godot’s simplicity, but would you think I’m using the wrong game engine for this task? Thank you all!
