At Jewel. I knew it was happening and I didn't stop it. Fuck that company and all the others that want to dehumanize their businesses!
I am trying to find the one where Dan goes into a bit where he's doing smoking-cessation-hypnosis style narration. I think there was a guest on stage with him that was just letting roll with it. I believe it's toward the end of the show, like late Starburns days or Dynasty Typewriter days. I've been re-listening to a bunch of that stuff and I can't for the life of me remember which episode this was.
And it was every station. I waited 40 minutes for a scoop of gelato. The guests were pissed off, which is totally understandable. We had parties of 8 and 10 that walked out. Then, the kitchen spent precious time plating the orders for those tables and sending them out only to find nobody there. It was like watching a person die while knowing there was nothing you could do to save them. It was a true shitshow. One of the worst I've seen.
My seven year old daughter has taken to watching the tik tok style vids on youtube and I recently discovered a bunch of creepy Christian Jesus loves you bullshit sliding in behind whichever video she watches.
No more youtube for her unless either myself or her mother is around to make sure that bullshit doesn't fall through the cracks!
I want to know who is funding this nonsense? It has to be paid content. There's no way she wandered into the Jesus bullshit organically.
If you are an Alioth apologist, you can go stick your thumb up your butt.
Dude led an interesting life, no matter what you think of his legacy. I would have cast a young George C Scott. Don't know who would play him today. Maybe Tom Hardy?
Bronco Nagurski - Jason Segel Sid Luckman - Mark Ruffalo Red Grange - Vin Diesel Tom Waddle - Jeremy Renner Dick Butkus - Nick Offerman
Any other ideas?
I got a NY strip for $9.09 (about 10ozs). Just cooked it up. Cast iron skillet, nice and hot with some fresh oil, salt, pepper, sear. Season, flip, sear. Remove from the pan when it's done as you like it (MR for me) and allow to rest. Meanwhile, add butter, julienne shallots, and quartered domestic white mushrooms. Cook all until slightly caramelized. Deglaze with wine, beer, water, stock, or whatever works for you. Slice your steak and top with your shallots and mushrooms with pan sauce. Eat with some garlic bread. Perfect meal.
What do you guys do? I like to do a fist bump emoji at the start of the game to communicate my admiration. Does anybody else do anything like this?
I'm 46 years old, male, and I've been on a journey for almost five months now. I don't even know what I weighed when I started this. I didn't want to know.I just knew I was 419lbs at a physical last November and I made zero changed until this past April, so I probably weighed more at the start. Anyways, I'm down to 347 as of yesterday morning. Clothes I gave up on are starting to fit again. Women have a different look in their eyes when I talk to them lately. I have another 100+ to go, but I'm proud of the progress I've made so far!
I love it when Yondu is in your opening hand and Luke's Bar is the first location. I can almost guarantee my opponent will retreat by turn 3. Not good for farming cubes, but it feels so fun to be that nasty sometimes.
