I’m not sure if this is a bug or a deliberate feature, but I’ve always felt that skill cooldowns in this game were unnecessarily long. However, while playing the current event story's bonus section, I noticed that switching to a secondary weapon during combat significantly reduces cooldown timers.

Using Nagi as an example (with all her skills fully maxed out):

  • Initial Cast: I used Storm Dance, and the cooldown started at 12 seconds.
  • First Switch: After swapping to my secondary weapon, the timer immediately dropped to 7 seconds.
  • Second Switch: Swapping back to the primary weapon reduced it further, eventually bottoming out at 5 seconds.

Is this a hidden mechanic I’ve just been un

I’ve been playing Blade a lot recently and hit Captain in one and a half days (almost Centurion). I’m still kind of mid with him, so it’s entirely possible I’m just bad, after all, I am a blackwidow one trick (and I'm not even that good with her either). Anyway, I’ve been thinking about how his kit could be reworked to make him more efficient as a DPS character. These are just ideas; they might be good or absolutely terrible, so if you think they suck, please explain why. I’d genuinely like to understand what I’m missing.

1. Life Steal Improvements

Blade’s life steal feels really underwhelming right now. He practically requires a pocket support or he just flatlines instantly.

I thin

Haven’t played in a while, but I just got Ultimate Luna and noticed she’s way taller than regular Luna.

Is there a lore reason for that? Is she supposed to be older or something? Or did they just redesign her proportions for the Ultimate version?

Just curious because it threw me off when I first saw her lol.

I’ve been having a tough time with the Storm Hanger boss and was wondering if anyone has an optimized Hailey build for this encounter. I really like her playstyle, but my current setup isn’t cutting it against this boss.

What mods, weapons, and stat priorities do you recommend? Should I focus on survivability, mobility, or raw damage for this fight? Also, if there are any specific strategies or positioning tips for Hailey in this boss fight, I’d love to hear them.

Thanks in advance!

I’ve been thinking a lot about ways to expand the Medium’s weapon pool. Here are 7 weapons that I think would make Medium more fun and flexible to play:

WEAPON CONCEPTS

1. ARX-160

Type: Full-auto Rifle w/ Underbarrel Launcher

RPM: 700

Damage: 19 body / 30 head

Mag: 30+1

Special: Undermount launcher fires impact-based grenades (frag, pyro, gas, EMP, smoke), kinda like having a free grenade slot. The launcher has 2 charges each on a 30-second cooldown.

Identity: A tactical, utility-driven rifle. Lower base damage than the AKM or FCAR, but more versatile. A perfect fit for players who like pressure tools and control.

2. : Uzi Pro (.45 ACP)

Type: Compact Auto Pistol (SMG-st

Its been a year now and im really enjoying the Military Lolita style outfit that was added in Season 3. I actually wasn't familiar with this fashion before seeing it in The Finals, and I think it looks really cool and unique in the game.

I was hoping we might see more variations of this style in future updates. The purple one is great, but it would be awesome to have it in other colors like black and red, or maybe even a grey and blue.

Beyond just different colors, I think it would be interesting to see slightly different takes on the Military Lolita look. Maybe different skirt lengths or sleeve styles could add some nice variety.

In addition, it would also be great to see more recolors f

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this (I hope its not just me), but the remaster feature in v4.5 completely ruins the essence of the song. I tried using it on a track, and it sounds like a Great Value version of itself. It just doesn’t capture the original vibe, and it feels like it strips away the core energy and personality of the song.

Has anyone else experienced this? I get that it’s meant to enhance the quality, but it feels like it’s doing the opposite. The remastered track sounds so processed and artificial. Maybe I’m missing something, but I just can’t figure out why it’s messing things up like this.

Anyone else with similar experiences? Or is there some trick to getting

So I’ve been playing The Finals since around Season 2, and while I love the game to death, there are a few character customization things that are long overdue. Let me break it down:

1. We need younger-looking face options.
Scotty and June are always talking about the “glory days” like they were 20 years ago, and the way all the face models look just makes it feel like you’re playing someone who’s 32 minimum. It’s weird to be called a “rising star” when you look like a veteran actor on their second comeback. Give us some fresh-faced options, maybe a couple that look like they’re in their early 20s or even late teens (especially for the Lights, bro looks like Benjamin Button). Not

I've been thinking about the Medium class and its dual blades, and I have a few suggestions that might finally make them feel less... well, literally ass. These suggestions are not very original, but it is necessary to make it be able to stand next to the other melee weapons.

  1. Perfect Block Mechanic: How about allowing the dual blades to perform a perfect block against other melee weapons? The idea is that when you successfully block an incoming melee attack right before it hits you, it should stun the opponent for about the same duration as the winch claw does and nullify the damage. This could add a nice layer of skill and strategy to melee engagements. If it's too easy to land, you

Song - Human Written Lyrics

Hey everyone,

I recently decided to take the plunge and write my own lyrics for a song. It was my first real attempt and I only now just had the confidence to make it public, so I’d love to hear what you think whether it’s about flow, structure, or just general vibes. Here it is:

The Sponsors in The Finals have massive influence—so what if they each had their own branded game modes? Each one would reflect their corporate identity, pushing contestants into unique high-stakes challenges. Here are three potential Sponsor Modes:

Holtow: Hazard Pay 💰⚠️

A high-stakes, risk-vs-reward mode where teams fight through a collapsing arena to collect and secure insurance claims, but the longer you hold onto them, the more they’re worth.

🎰New Gameshow events – Gameshow events can help or hinder your progress.

🛡️ Safe vs. Hazard Pay Zones – Low-risk areas give smaller payouts, but high-risk zones offer massive rewards.
