We had something turned on in our subreddit settings that decided a post a user posted was not topical and removed it.

We disagree about it being topical and a mod approved it.

The post is now visible on old Reddit and removed on new Reddit.

Where should I follow up on this?

I am not a reactor or a vocal anything or a guitar anything, but when I watch reaction videos they all start with something random and then ask their commenters for more.

Here is a short list of what people have been reacting to.

AGT Zombie (Cranberries), this is what caused her to go viral.

AGT Hysteria (Muse). In her first show she moved forward but she didn't immediately go to the next round of shows. They said yes to over a hundred acts, they had to cut it down to 44, and this was that process as pertains to her.

AGT Black Hole Sun (Soundgarden) quarterfinals. Yes, there is no intro, it ju

I get that warning, in red text no less, when the following happens:

  1. Someone sends us mod mail.
  2. Another mod replies with a private note.
  3. I type some random crap and try to reply to the mod mail under my own name.

It still lets me send it, but that warning is bizarre. It doesn't pertain to the situation at all. Nothing involved in this is read only, and it should be normal for me to reply to OP in a mod mail chain. If you want to warn me that I might mean to reply to my co-mod rather than OP, great, but what you are saying to me here is just gibberish.

A commenter posted some gibberish about Evolution in my subreddit. Someone replied to that. The original commenter then posted the following:

Your acting like you have a proven the theory.

Your argument rests on three assumptions: (1) gradual selection solves probability, (2) abiogenesis is irrelevant, and (3) interdependence is just physics. But gradual selection can't select what doesn't work; abiogenesis is the foundation of evolution, not a side issue; and interdependence is functional, not just physical. The Cambrian shows sudden complexity, not gradual change. And imperfections don't disprove design—they prove a broken world. So the question remains: Where did the information com

Anti-Evil Operations is what Reddit calls its rule enforcement section. I'm certain that Reddit uses a bot to enforce its rules, and I'm certain that its bot is defective to an unreasonable degree.

If you receive a warning or a ban from Reddit, don't assume that you did anything wrong, and don't assume that there is nothing that can be done about it. Along with the warning or whatever that you receive by DM will by an appeal link. They give you a link to what you wrote but won't let you see it, so you are at a disadvantage if you appeal, but I suggest that you appeal if you can recall your comment well enough that you think there is a possibility that Reddit's bot made a mistake.

People ask for this from time to time so here it is.

It's a count of every account that currently exists, including accounts who have not been here for years, who has set their flair to anything.

Reasons it's risky to make conclusions based upon this:

  • Someone who was here for five minutes in 2012 and set their flair is represented in this list.
  • Where people post and how much they post is not accounted for.
  • Many people do not use flair.

There is the post from 2022. We've added under a thousand atheist flairs and about seven thousand plain Christian cross flairs, and around twenty thousand total.

I have better things to do than to be chronically online you retard. It’s amazing but entirely unsurprising that you would jump to the conclusion that I’m too lazy because I’m not going to argue with your stupid ass comment. Your comment equates to nuh uh as a response to my original comment go touch some grass

I get that the official position of the church (and of the sub for that matter) contradicts "gender ideology" or whatever you want to call it. I'm not here to get into that.

But on the other hand, there is doctrine and there is what clergy actually does. It's my impression that Francis, for example, was not particularly in-your-face about church positions when speaking to people who were personally impacted by those positions.

Are there cases where high-ranking clergy who aren't super-extreme ideologically have publicly used an English gendered pronoun (don't care which one) to refer to a specific named trans person?

My father is 85 years old, is of sound mind, and lives in Oregon. I do not, and conversation referenced in this post took place over the phone.

He needed some work done on his shower faucet. A plumber he had done business with and was satisfied with was contracted to fix the faucet.

The work was completed approximately November 22nd, and my father paid seven hundred dollars by credit card, which seems excessive to me but he paid it. The work was under warranty.

He noticed that the faucet was very sensitive and he called the plumber about this. I don't know exactly what he said but he did mention that this was work done under warranty. They said they'd send someone out so he wouldn't scald
