I am having a mini existential crisis, after witnessing the effort CIG put into the new bathroom facilities of the Syulen.

I realised my thoughts likely mirrored something that CIG must have discussed in relation to game design at some point when they decided not to go as far as to animate high fidelity pissing and shitting animations in Star Citizen.

Other than the obvious issues that puritanical, North Americans would have with including nudity in a video game... i started to consider what would actually happen if you gave gamers the freedom to direct their avatars to piss and shit on command...

I have only been getting about 4 to 5hrs Max sleep a night for years now. I spoke to a sleep psychologist who suggested it was purely stress hormones waking me up fully and keeping me from getting that last one or two sleep cycles.

I took a holiday 3 years ago and when I returned I was getting 7hrs again regularly. Since then, a bad motorcycle accident and completion of multiple post-grad degrees had quickly managed to erase that good sleep pattern again.

Has anyone experienced similar and have suggestions? I. E. not being able to stay asleep for more than 2 or 3 sleep cycles? I just took a 2 week trip to a tropical freaking island and it hasn't helped at all.

OK... So I've only done a bare amount of reading about this, but would love to hear people's thoughts.

Hello fellow disillusioned gamers.

I'm real sad there is no Star Citizen after 10 years... But nothing about CIG's recent slashing of their roadmap seems confusing to me.

They realise that if they don't at least release Squadron 42 asap, they are going to quickly lose whatever faith is left in the community.

I have no problem with this. I paid for a game and I want a game. Am I missing something? Haven't CIG simply refocussed all their development toward Squadron 42 and isn't that the best possible scenario here?

I thought he was just a theoretical physicist!
