Hello,

I'm helping someone with a Starlink install on their boat, they've ordered the Flat High Performance dish and received something with a 508 model designation. A 3rd party supplier of a DC power supply said their unit only works with the 507. Does anyone have the technical details of the difference between these 2? I believe this is just the power supply model number?

I'm trying to find a solution that doesn't require an AC inverter.

Thanks in advance!

Looking for a little help, I'm unable to connect to any of my indexers in Jackett if the URL takes the form of http(s)://jackett.tld.com, I've also tried http(s)://jackett.tld.com:9117. But if I use the local ip of the machine http://192.168.XX.XX:9117 then it can connect.

I use Caddy as a reverse proxy and I can access the GUI for Jackett at https://jackett.tld.com. Addtionally, if I try to check via curl it seems to work:

curl https://jackett.tld.com/api/v2.0/indexers/xspeeds/results/torznab/
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<error code="100" description="Invalid API Key" />%

So i'm at a bit of a lo

My wife's mother just passed away. She has a rather large collection of family photos and memorabilia, dated to the civil war & earlier. We've already found scanning services for what we want to preserve, but it seems some of this stuff would be of historical interest?

Are there historians that you can call that will look at your stuff and determine if any of it should be given to the museum?

We're in DC if that's relevant.

Used u/zrhio Sergio for a Van Gogh-style portrait of my parents’ dog. He was very responsive via his website contact form, good rates for the quality of work, asked some good questions and have a great product within just a few days. I really liked the effect the Van Gogh styling had on the fur. Definitely a good investment and would work with him again

Hello, I'm looking to get some cufflinks made as wedding gifts for my groomsmen. I found some standard round ones, but I was hoping to maybe do the maui hook or a koru.

So looking for recommendations on a greenstone jeweler who could do some custom cufflinks. Thanks!!

Any fellow alumni in Auckland that want to get together to watch the game? Or if there is an already established Michigan bar point me in that direction!

I'm about to move away across the globe for an extended period and am visiting my grandmother, who has dementia, tomorrow. I want to write her a letter as her health is a bit suspect and this could be the last time I see her. Does anyone have tips for how to best approach context and format to achieve maximum comprehension? Maybe written words aren't as problematic as verbal interactions, my general approach was to not be too flowery, and to try to be succinct. Any tips or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Work is buying a ticket to New Zealand in a couple of months, but I want to upgrade to business class. I have a United ticket that is being cancelled due to COVID-19, is it best to apply those cash funds, or transfer Chase UR to United for the upgrade? Something else? Thanks!

Bit of an odd one - if I had 2 parallel hallways, for example, could I connect 2 separate antennas via a T to the barrel connector of a Metal 52 and have it work? I'm sure there will be some additional loss, not a big deal. Mainly just not sure theoretically if, for instance, wave interference from the 2 antennas would cause an issue? It seems like it should work, but wondering if anyone has more technical insight.
