Hey guys,

Would anyone mind critiquing my PC build? I am a video editor and CAD user. I also play a few games. Budget isn't too big of an issue, as long as its future proof.

I also have many usb devices (8+) that need to constantly be hooked up to the computer.

One of my concerns is that the processor might run too hot. Does anyone have experience with the i7 vs the i5s? I will most likely buy an aftermarket heatsink.

Note: I already have the videocard and powersupply listed. I also already have a SSD and optical drives.

Thanks reddit.

I am reading this bottle of Witch Hazel, which had a note on the bottom: "Square bottle uses less plastic than a similarly size round bottle." While I can understand that it is probably more efficient for packaging, I do not quite understand how this is true for the bottle itself. Wouldn't round things be stronger (i.e. squeezing an egg) than a geometric one? Is it significant enough that they can reduce the thickness?

Is this claim true? If so, why?

I work on campus and I am always looking for a new place to go for lunch. Since I am essentially car-less, everything needs to be within walking distance. What are you favorite places to eat on campus?

I know there are many buildings with their own little cafes and, of course, the Stamp's foodcourt. Let me know what your niche is and maybe what your favorite thing to get.

We are looking for a roommate to replace the one who is leaving UMD. We currently have a house that we enjoy too much to give up and would like to sign it back.

The house is a 5 min walk to the Greenbelt Metro Station, 5 min drive to campus. The house has 3 singles, 1 full bathroom, 2 large common rooms, and a very nice kitchen. It also has a shed and a decent size driveway in a quiet/safe neighborhood. Central air, Gas Heating, the works. We are two working graduate students: physics and civil engineering. One of the perks is that we enjoy cooking and tend to make communal meals every night. We live a quiet life at the house riddled with memes, but love to go out when we have free time.
