I wouldn't ask you this if I hadn't tried looking for it on several websites. I'm trying to learn OpenGL with code blocks on my notebook (asus vivobook), but apparently the default library that one uses (gl.h and glu.h) date back to 1990.

I'm looking at this page: http://antongerdelan.net/opengl/hellotriangle.html

So I want to move to open GL 4.5 or whichever newest version my hardware supports that's not low-level Vulcan.

From what I see everybody uses a library called 'glew.h' that's not just headers but also code you need to compile.

But apparently the real header files I need are 'gl3.h' or 'egl.h' or even 'glfw3.h', but they are supposed to be installed by updating your GPU drivers
