Just an update on this thread -

I decided to give it a try and do my own repairs on it. Bought a new carburettor kit and changed the fuel lines and fuel filter. After having a little bit of issues with the throttle cable and getting that on the new carburettor and the choke levers (it was stuck at first when I bought it back together). It fired up again but it would not throttle up. After some adjustment to the idling screw it works perfectly now. Very glad I spent that $20 on that kit. It came with another air filter and spark plug so that will come in handy later on as they were not used.

Question: My Ryobi 2 stroke is really smoking now on full throttle. It is 8 years old now - is it worth saving? I have always ran it on 40:1 so recognise it would already be running a bit smokey anyway but seems excessive smoke now. Want to upgrade to an Echo. Thoughts?

Very likely I'm going to go to Surfers for the Saturday and what I usually do is wear a very average shirt that is on its way out and buy a shirt from the merchandise tents and ditch the shirt I bought and bin it.

But I don't want to buy some average shirt like I did last time which was a 888 where the sponsors peel off after a year.

Do any of the teams actually sell NRL or AFL quality polos with embroided sponsor logos or is it all these laser print on efforts?

Does anyone else need breaks to finish this episode? I've paused it twice now on a re-watch over a couple of days knowing what happens at the end. Just shows how good it was when it first aired.

After not being able to find a club after Leicester Ryan Bertrand has retired. I just want to say he was a vital part of our team during those Koeman and early Hasenhüttl days at left back. All the best in retirement!

I'm done with r/NRL so going to post here instead.

Very pleased with the effort from all the players tonight. I think defensively there are still a few areas we can improve on especially with Kennar but can't fault the effort.

The kicking game is just exceptional ATM. We don't need Hawkins back. Those spiral bombs are just so hard to take.

I have a standard Ryobi 2 stroke weed eater https://www.ryobi.com.au/garden-tools/products/details/25-4cc-2-stroke-easy-start-curved-shaft-line-trimmer-rlt254cdso?list=all_products&list_name=All+Products

And was wondering if I can fit an echo speed feed 400 head to it?

I have a Honda HRU19. I would probably guess it was 20 years old, maybe 15 if I'm lucky.

Anyway, I got it 2nd hand 3 years ago when I bought a house and it has generally worked well and starts 2nd pull normally but coughs and splatters a bit when idling.

One thing visually that has bothering me though the last year or so is that the rubber trail at the back of it is slightly teared and I've wanted to replace it. So I did that the other day and flipped it on its side with the air filter up and now it won't work anymore.

I have a feeling that the choke system is busted as I think I read that if you have the choke off that it should be fully closed when you look inside the air filter but

I got a kitten about 3 months ago. Probably more like 4 months ago now. I kept it inside for 6 weeks (it was 4 months old when I got it) and then slowly introduced it to the outdoors by letting it out for half an hour at a time and then a couple of hours outside supervised and now I just let it out when it wants to go out but only when I'm home. When I'm at work I keep it inside. I also keep it inside when I go to bed.

Anyway when I was keeping it inside all the time this cat next door which must be a 4 to 5 year old big tom cat came over and was constantly at the door just laying there and the two cats would try to touch each other through the screen and that cat would meow whenever it wa

For me, it is Appleton reserve 8 year old. What about you?

I have some cement that I want to give a smoother finish to and wondering what angle grinder I should buy to do the job. I would obviously like it for other jobs that pop up around the house that I need to cut metal for etc. What would you recommend and what discs should I get to do the job?

We have entered lawn mowing season in Australia and just like others around the world I would expect, I enjoy a cold one after I'm done. What's your usual go to?

This thread may be considered to be a spoiler for Westworld so just be warned.

When I started watching Succession about a month ago I couldn't help but notice how similar Logan Roy as a character was to James Delos in how aggressive and forceful they were in both their actions and language and both being titans of business. So my question is who wins - Who wins an argument? Who wins in a battle to take over a company they are both vying for? Who wins in a battle to prevent their company from being taken over?
