I have a 2019 shield and use only x3 apps on there:

YouTube, Plex & Jellyfin.
No wireless.
No attached USB devices.
Device is spotless/clean/fan works fine.
No background apps.

I remember hearing the nVidia shield is overkill so I purchased x2 of them and they're both so slow and laggy. I realized I made a mistake when I couldn't disable the ads but I was already invested. It was fine / no issues for 3-4 years and now both are sitting unplugged being out-performed by $40 Roku.

Is this a common bug/issue?

Just got a MS-A2. Popped in a brand new ?Yeston? RTX3050 GPU and when I power the system on, it doesn't look good. This means the GPU is bad, no?

I've had my MS-01 doing a lot of work in the past 2 years. I recently upgraded the system with a RTX3050 LPP GPU and when I installed it, the system booted fine and the card appeared to display video however there was zero activity lights or network connectivity from either of the 2.5 LAN ports.
Is this a BIOS issue or a common pitfall I failed to do my homework for before buying the GPU?
I watched so many videos of people slapping in a GPU and never mentioning any issues with conflicts with the 2.5 LAN ports.

IF this is a common issue or expected behavior, does the same thing also happen on the MS-A2?

Look, I get it's a soft goods manufacturer trying to still establish their identity in a very niche market but since Jack left, I find a lot of the marketing direction and overall vibe from the company is, well - not for me. I know marketing in every facet of business will always be cringe/disconnected from reality but I definitely don't understand the direction their products and hipster cosplay video characters are painting. It's a hard pill to swallow on the price hike considering how much more money is going into marketing/promotion (and not in a good way imo).
Anyways, the world appears to have bigger issues than my vibe for a bag company most people never heard of.

I've searched and tried most common suggestions but nothing seems to fix the fact that to listen to things at a normal level on any Plex Android app connected to my PMS is ~20. Generally I'm at 15 but lets say 20.
To watch a movie on my Plex server using Roku / nVidia Shield / PS5 , I need to put the TV volume at ~70. Thats a huge difference. Im directly connected and not transcoding. Does sub-titles make a difference here converting a normally direct play file into a transcoded flie?

Anyone know if this is possible / supported? Somethings say 'no' and then I find articles with a mile long run-book so really not sure whether this is worth looking into or just something I should avoid and consider not supported.

I am seeing a single internal known IP of a trusted vm making ~120 "idle" connections to my database every single day. The connections are all from the same single IP.

When I query pg_stat_activity, I see the query is 1 of 2 for all the connections...
Either ROLLBACK; or SHOW TRANSACTION ISO LEVEL;

The connections last ALL DAY and are reset the following day.
I checked with the billing team & they advised me they are using a connection pooling service called cp30 which based on the queries I'm seeing seem coorelated.

I have no clue what I should do in this case. If I kill the connections, they just come back. They are using the superuser role (which really sucks!) so I can't limit

I have a pair of Ultimate Ears (before Logitech bought them) ~2009~ which I had custom molded to my ears. I still have them but the drivers are shot and the acrylic shockingly isn't clear anymore (I've cleaned them good).

Can I send these to another company to have new IEMs shaped or do I need to go back to an audiologist again?

After 12 years using the same brushed drill, my wife got me the new M12 3/8 Stubby.
Is there an impact rated set of sockets you recommend for this drill? I don't mind spending a little bit more on quality sockets but also would like the option to use 1/2 sockets as well. Is there a set / kit with a 1/2 adapter that is impact rated as well?

I decided to try gunbroker.com for the 1st time. Created an account / verified it & all that jazz. Found a gun I wanted and verified shipping and set my FFL through Gunbroker. When I won the item, the seller threw in a surprise 3% CC fee, $20 shipping & told me he can't ship the gun w/ the magazines unless I pick them up locally. I was like wtf?! Can dealers / sellers not ship firearms legally to any approved FFL dealer? Guess I either don't know what I'm doing and should stick to local gun stores or I got a odd seller?

I have a MBP M3 and shifting from my current Dell / Alienware AW3821DW.

Also have a Linux workstation on the same monitor running 3840x1600 (native) 144Hz.

Both don't look as clear as my built-in Macbook Pro LCD.

Any recommendations on a 4K glossy workstation that is NOT curved 32" - 36" & also would love USB-C one-cable setup option.

My 01' w/ 124K miles originally I thought the rear shock was busted but it appears the rust is so bad, the shock can no longer bolt to the frame of the car in the rear. The other side isn't far behind either.

It drives I guess but is my only option to total this? I don't want to sell it to anyone and the engine is mint 124K.
