So I got a gpa of 2.66 in my undergrad. I was thinking of doing the AAS and then applying to graduate school in the future.

I am just looking to study + do some internships in NYC.

I have worked a lot of roles in the past few years and have a strong resume.

Statement of purpose for study permit & advice on second application

I am currently re-writing a SOP for my second try at a study permit. This time around I am doing the following:

Official rejection reason last time:

  • You do not have significant family ties outside Canada - My family lives in the UAE and I want to come back and support them .
  • The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application .
  • Your current employment situation does not show that you are financially established in your country of residence.
