This may be a stupid question but I am at work right now trying to use TIDAL on our Roku Smart TV in the back so I can listen to music, however I cannot seem to figure out how to shuffle my tracks. Where do I go for that?

This is one of the most important subreddits that I am subscribed to, but I am extremely opposed by reddit's recent decision to stop the use of third party applications, not even mentioning the major privacy concerns as well. If I had what it takes to moderate a community like that I would create it myself, but I don't. Lemmy is better in pretty much every way on paper, and the development is very rapid now that people are using it. I feel like this would be a great platform

I started only eating dinner pretty much out of laziness. This way I don't have to plan or bring anything to work, and I wake up just early enough to get up and leave. I've been doing this for maybe 8 months now, and since I also cut out soda I've lost about 40lbs. I guess my question is, is there something I should be doing better that is perhaps more effective? Or is what I'm doing okay to continue doing?

Looking for any type of food, even dessert, just places that are open very late, like 1am or later. I am not looking for bars however (not 21)

My dad and I are having a discussion about the current state of the United States. He thinks the people are just too lazy to work these days, and people are just complaining about not having money because they're too lazy, or perhaps not being smart with their money. I think that there is a problem with the system, and big companies are being too greedy and they don't want to pay their employees what they are worth. I also think that $40,000 a year is not a livable wage on its own, however I'm only 20 years old so I wouldn't know from personal experience.

What do you guys think?

I love DD1, I have since I was a young lad. I purchased DDA a long time ago, like when it first came out, and I didn't play it at all. I've been in the mood for Dungeon Defenders lately, but I don't want to put a bunch of time into DDA if I'm not going to like it as much as DD1. I also just found out about DD1 Redux, which I have not had the pleasure of playing, and I don't know if that is more worth my time?

I played DDA for about 30 minutes today and noticed a few things:

  • The progression feels different
  • You can switch heroes in the middle of waves (which I don't like)
  • Graphics are WAY better and the game feels smoother and less crusty
  • You don't have to pay for additional heroes

I KNOW I was able to do this, but I have tried going into Documents/Assassin4.ini and changing the value of refresh rate and displayed refresh rate to 144, yet I am still running at 60 FPS. I'm also getting some poor performance in general. I've obviously looked online quite a bit, with people saying that the game is capped at 63 FPS, but I know it's possible I've done it before! So frustrating! Anyone know how to do this?

Don't know how much you all know about the US, but it's going downhill fast. I've been looking for some other countries I could move to in the event the United States becomes unlivable.

I thought of Switzerland because I really like the data privacy laws, but other than that I don't know a lot about Switzerland. I know this citizenship process takes a very long time, which is why I'm doing research now to determine whether I should start that process or not.
