Typically we would want to use the official arbitrum erc20 bridge to bridge DONUT from mainnet to arbitrum. In our case, from the multisig, there was a still not-understood error during the tx simulation where it looked like the transaction would fail. Plan B was/is to have another party with DONUT already on Arb1 send DONUTs to the arbitrum multisig and then be reimbursed from the mainnet multisig. Since funds are received and

For transparency I will outline some actions that have been taken by myself on behalf of the EthTrader treasury for which there was just a reimbursement of 1.399m donuts in the mainnet multisig.

We are soon to have our first distribution on Arbitrum. It was felt by the multisig members that there should be some liquidity on Arbitrum prior to this or the migration could be seen less favorably(!). Since the multisig had previously been authorized to, but had never enacted, it's own LP position this was taken as an opportunity to do so - the treasury would itself provide some liquidity in advance of the distribution. The required steps/tx are difficult to do from a multisig (you may see why be

Objective

The goal of this initative is to receive a grant from the Arbitrum foundation to facilitate the transition to and expand activity of the r/ethtrader community and donut ecosystem on Arbitrum One.

Outline

u/Eth_Man will initiate with delivery of a 1 page introduction of our community and what we intend to bring to Arbitrum. The grant would likely seek to cover transition costs, LP incentives, user quests, promotional space, and new protocol development.

Reward

  • 100k $DONUT and 100k $CONTRIB (10% for delivery of introduction). shared among contributors
  • 5% of funds from the received grant

We of course should not shy away from evolving the Donut incentive model. There is plenty we have learned about what has worked vs not worked and I believe there are some changes we could make to make the model more clear, consistent, and effective.

The overarching aim is to reward contribution. A key challenge therefore is how to identify that contribution. At the moment we rely heavily on Reddit to give us karma metrics which we use to bias weighting. Reddit does not allow any discrimination based on who is voting on content and this, in my opinion, is a major issue. *The signal from established members of a community should have a greater weight to identify what is a contribution

I had major problems with warping when printing large PETG parts for a jet-surf project on my Anycubic Kobra Max printer. I came across this year old thread and since comments are disabled there I thought I'd add few photos as a new post. It is very simple and uses a card table as the frame with Reflective Insulation Foam wrapped around the outside. I used velcro to attach the insulation wrap to the card table. I'm printing now and the internal temperature is 45.2°C (113°F) though that's measured with a meat thermometer near
