Forever DM looking to play in a long-term, in-person game. I have space to host, bazillions of minis, a video map table, and loads of terrain pieces. I’ll play any class, and am open to most any homebrew or official setting. If there’s space enough for 2, my wife would love to join too. We’re happily married 20 years.

No one has declared war except Ukraine and Iran. But to me it looks like the axis powers are shaping up to be Russia, Iran, North Korea, and maybe China. The allies are Ukraine, USA, EU, and Israel. We’re in the long-predicted resource wars of the 21st century. How does it all settle down? If it’s to get worse before it gets better, how?

My campaigns are driven by the “collaborative storytelling” aspect of D&D. I trained Claude on 3 years worth of my hand-written, chronicle style game notes. I then put together a purpose-built recording and speech-to-text diarization pipeline with Claude Coworker, Audacity, and Assembly AI which then converts the verbatim script to write and automatically post my game notes on World Anvil. One of the most recent examples is linked below.

So I did what everyone does these days and asked an LLM. That said, I’m not stupid enough to trust its advice so now I’m hoping you guys can help me out.

My D&D game leans very heavily into the whole collaborative storytelling aspect, and all of my players are amazing at role playing. I really like to capture as much of the dialog as I can, in a narrative style, in my game notes (10-20 pages per session). But frankly, doing it all from memory is hard and I don’t do a good job of it.

So I’d like to set up a good recording system for my games, and a way to get it all transcribed such that every speaker can be recognized even when they are using character accents. I also don’t want use LA

Hello Waterdhavians,

My party is currently in Dweomercore and about to have their first dialog with Skrianna Shadowdusk. She happens to be under a charm with the Rod of Rulership from the level above, so I've prepared for her to be particularly forthcoming. The module is very vague as to the relationships of all the Shadowdusks, so I've put together a proposal for a family tree, which agrees entirely with the relationships mentioned in the book, but also has some supposed and proposed relationships by me. Some notes on the familial relations are also given. Feel free to use it in your campaign.

I used to have a big, thick, beautiful head of hair. So much of the affection expressed towards me was communicated through the gentle touches on my head.

Then I went bald, and shaved it clean, and now no one touches my greasy dome except me.

I don’t know if the wisdom I’ve gained was a fair trade.
