If you are moving in or moving out you should know your rights as they apply to your security deposit. So many landlords blatantly ignore the law and their failure to follow the law can result in any of the following; forfeit any right to withhold any of the deposit, force them to immediately return the deposit to you (at beginning of lease no need to wait to the end) and even award you triple damages and attorney fees.

I mostly use power tools. I want to get my first hand plane to primarily use with a shooting board. I would also like to use it to create quick bevels to smooth edges, and some surface smoothing so I can do less sanding. I have $100 to spend on Amazon, is there anything worth getting that will reasonably do what I want? Right now looking at this JORGENSEN No.5.

You don’t own public space. Owning a car does not change that. You may say you wouldn’t vandalize a car that parks in the space but you know damn well your space saver is an implicit threat of violence against your neighbor. All space savers should be immediately removed at anytime by anyone who believes in a civil society.

What does Catalina's demise mean for owners? Would the lack of an active builder deter you from buying a used Catalina? My 5 year plan includes buying a 40-45 foot sailboat and Catalina 445 is at the top of my list. I know there is a Catalina parts reseller not associated with the company and there is a strong owners groups, what difference would having an active builder make to someone owning a 10-15 year old used boat?

Car took a left on a red left arrow while I had the walk signal. They accelerated to get past an oncoming car and nearly flattened me. I never saw them coming because they came from behind me, if I had been walking any faster I would probably be dead or at least in the hospital. Drivers please be aware that of the road users it is only cars and trucks that are likely to severely injure or kill someone.

Assume 45 foot aft cockpit. Would you prefer owners cabin aft or forward? Before you answer I am looking at v-berth or aft cabin with the Island style berths only.

My router has Wireguard built in, the setup was extremely easy so now my iPhone and laptop can easily access my internal network to use all my apps on the go.
