Saw all the news last week about this new insuretech receiving a huge valuation: https://techcrunch.com/2026/05/28/corgi-announces-106m-raise-at-2-6b-valuation-three-weeks-after-160m-series-b/

Looks like they write various commercial coverages for tech start ups.

Does anyone work there or have any insight on this huge valuation? I see they even offer "AI Liability" per their website. Mostly just curious if anyone has information on how they are set up and/or operate.

They claim they are "full stack" on their website and looks like it is some sort of mutual like set up but it's unclear to me. "Coverage is underwritten by Technology Risk Retention Group, Inc. (TRRG), a risk retention group

Location: TX

I signed a lease back in November for a home here in TX. Everything has been pretty normal - They fixed a broken lock on the door and replaced the roof since I've been here. I've paid the deposit + rent monthly.

Today, I have a letter taped to my door stating the tenant, someone who is not me, is past due like $6,000 and they are going to start the eviction process shortly. The owner of the house (an LLC) listed on the letter is not who I pay rent to. I forward this to the realtor I leased the house through and he calls me and says he'll sort it out. He thinks the LLC owns multiple homes and has the address wrong.

However, I looked up the property online and the owner is lis

My family does a Christmas gift drawing each year and I drew my cousin and his wife and they live in Denver.

I was trying to think of some Christmas gifts to send them and thought some Texas/Austin foods would be a good idea. Anyone have any ideas on food gifts that would survive shipping? I'm from SA originally so tamales came to mind but those would be tough to ship.

Any ideas are appreciated and thank you!

Hello, I found a wristband in the middle of the road while walking my dog this morning. Is there a way to look up who it belongs to? I found it on my street so if it's one of my neighbor's I want to give it back.

I went to check on the website and I only see activate which I don't want to do.

How often do you dollar-cost average in your taxable account?

My 401k and HSA are obviously taken out every two weeks with my paycheck. However, I have my contributions into my taxable account set up once per month. Curious how often most on this forum are doing it and why? Weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, etc.?

Edit: For all the semantics regarding DCA vs lump sum: I meant, for those that invest a set amount on a schedule into a taxable account, how often?

Hi all,

I work for a small tech company and just got word that my department was getting shut down. We were reassured that no one was getting laid off and they would find something for all of us internally. This sounds unlikely to me having been part of companies with layoffs before.

I've started having meetings with various department heads about open positions and am concerned I will not find anything that is a good fit or, even worse, potentially not even be offered another role. I do not want to go backwards in job title or salary and I feel like that is what will end up happening with an internal move.

My question is, has anyone gone through this before? Depending on how the internal

I currently work for a large corporation with over 20,000 employees. I am an individual contributor and have applied for management jobs twice and not been selected. A much smaller company in my industry (under 500 people) has offered me a management job. However, the base salary is slightly less than I make now as I am in a sales role with good monthly bonuses. The benefits are also worse, less PTO and no 401k match. I am still considering taking the position as I feel it will open up opportunities in my industry in the future if I have management experience on my resume. I have made a counter offer but the HR rep pretty much told me the most they’d be able to add to the initial offer is ar
