I have long acrylic nails so it’s almost impossible for me to fit my finger pad on my eyelids when going in with eyeshadow. It’s especially impossible when doing clients makeup. All of the brushes (I normally use a flat one) don’t get nearly as much pigment on the lid as my finger would and, if they come close, it usually results in a LOT of fallout/eyeshadow dust on the under eye. Any hacks or suggestions?

I’ve been so incredibly lucky with my transition. Ive been able to achieve full passability through years of hormones and multiple surgeries. I never thought that I would ever become as conventionally feminine as I am today. That being said, my quality of life really hasn’t changed because of that from a social standpoint. I still endure SO MUCH rejection from being a trans woman who is perceived as cis. The safety aspect of passing feels really nice, and I also feel euphoric when i look in the mirror. However i’ve gotten to a point where I’m starting to mistrust cis people (particularly men) whom i disclose my transness to, especially when it’s met with confusion or moreover disgust.

hi everyone, my name is Deja and i’m a doll just looking to connect and hang out with other girls who have a similar lived experience as me. I had a solid core group of friends already but i’m looking to continue expanding that circle. Thanks!

Hi everyone, i wanted to vent and hopefully get more feedback about recovery after getting the tracheal shave procedure. I went to an ENT surgeon and had it done through the bottom of my lower gum without any external incisions on the neck (transoral).

The first 4 days were really brutal in terms of recovery. I could not vocalize whatsoever and experienced pain while swallowing.

At one week post op, my speaking voice is incredibly low and raspy. my upper vocal range is 100% nonexistent (i can no longer speak in falsetto).

Pre-surgery my voice passed without hesitation. It was my pride and joy with being a trans woman, and now i can tell that something sounds seriously off and that i ca
