Personally, I jump between three different computers. I mainly do retouching and some compositing and honestly they all perform perfectly well for my needs as I do not currently do any high-volume work (when I did, also having a Wacom tablet was a life saver!). The key for me is to always have enough RAM, as running out can suck (and it is relatively inexpensive compared to other components). Oh, and a good dedicated GPU can also make the PC double as a gaming rig... ;)

Normally in Photoshop on Windows, you can use Ctrl + to zoom in, and Ctrl - to zoom out.
To zoom in/out multiple steps, the normal approach is to hold Ctrl, and the tap + or - multiple times. (It's the same for zooming in/out so i will just use zoom in as my example below):
Recently however, this has stopped working correctly. Holding Ctrl and tapping + once will zoom in multiple steps. So if you hold Ctrl and tap + twice, suddenly you are zoomed crazy far in (or out) in multiple jarring steps with some delay and it's near impossible to consistently hit the desired zoom level. It is usually two steps, but it can vary, and sometimes it simply keeps zooming until you let go of Ctrl. It's lik

The PC really should be able to handle the game.
Even at low graphics settings, dumping all settings with high CPU impact, yet after about one match my FPS has dropped from around 70 down to 40 (remains so even on the menu!). GPU utilization low. The performance overlay seems to indicate the CPU is the bottleneck – but I'm only seeing 30% utilization (see screenshot).
