Hello fellow Vorthoses! I have just finished sorting a bunch of old cards and I came across [[soul burn]] from Invasion. I remember the character depicted since my childhood because It was so different from most mtg characters released at that point. Also, I was always intrigued by their incredible resemblance to [[tsabo tavoc]] as though as it might be the phyrexianized version of the soul burn character.

Anyway, what is your opinion? Does anyone have any piece lore about him/her?

“Convertible” decks: duel commander -> 4 players EDH

Greetings everyone, I am mostly a duel commander player, and I often refer to mtgtop8.com during deckbuilding.

4 players EDH isn’t a sanctioned format and I am aware that there is a great deal of variability when it comes to 4 people playing, including adjusting the power level to your peers in order to make a rather fair game but I don’t have clues where to find references. Also I am not really knowledgeable in how 4 ppl games play out.

Lately I have a found a small group of friends willing to play 4 players EDH only, so I would need a deck.

That said, does anybody know decks that can be easily switched/converted from 1vs1 to 4 pla

Right before covid restrictions hit in many European countries back in 2020 (ugh) WoTC announced the promo cards that would appear in PTQs for that year. https://magic.gg/news/2020-players-tour-qualifier-promos

As far as I know only Cryptic command had a significant distribution. A small number (or no) countries were able to host tournaments through April so I am unsure if surgical extraction was distributed, even if in small quantities. However the most anticipated card (at the time at least) was an Aether Vial with new art which I am sure it never got to the players’ hands because of restrictions.

Did WoTC ever made an announcement regarding those unreleased cards? Do you think WoTC wil

Since the new Innistrad set was released I was intrigued by the Night/day token artwork and those weird “vertical flashes of light” in the sky.

I am sure they are related to the disruption of the day/night cycle and maybe even to the Celestus but I haven’t been able to find any information yet.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for reading :)

Hello fellow Vorthoses, Unfortunately I couldn’t get my hands on a copy of the book so I ask: are there any interesting lore informations or any interesting, never seen before, artworks?
