Hello friends,

My last job offer was ~3 years ago. My (engineering) friend hyped me up telling me how he got offered way more than what he expected just by asking. I had a fairly generous offer so I said why not doesn't hurt to ask. They rescinded the offer completely and I felt a slight sting of regret. I'm glad it didn't work out in retrospect but I am just a bit nervous after my last experience.

So I got a VA job offer. I want them more than they want me. My current work setting is actually pretty damn awesome and I am sad to be leaving but the commute is grinding me down and I need something closer. I'm not after the big bucks (obviously) but I feel like if I can ask for more I should.

I am changing jobs soon. It will be a few years until i'm done with PSLF so i am looking to collect documents for the buyback program while I am with my current employer while I can.

Can anyone advise me what is needed?

I guess I don't mind sprawling on ground but it would be nicer if they can be a little more organized and bunched up? I have a square plot of dirt surrounded by concrete so it's naturally isolated from the rest of my trees.

Photos would be great if you can provide.

Thanks!!

Sometimes it's really sad like a "my husband is cheating on me" and sometimes it's clinically relevant like "she actually drinks lots of alcohol she's lying about it" ok what am i supposed to do here without HIPAA violation.

Today was a particularly sad and stressful marriage situation of my patient's spouse. I thought he was pretty cool before. Now that's all I am going to think about when I see him next time!!

So here is the test I tried to order and I got a message back saying this test is not available in California. I called them and they told me the same thing and that there is no alternative that they know of. There is a "single site" test but my understanding is that this is only for people whose parents already have a known genetic variant. I am not smart enough to know the technical differences but I do know that guidelines recommend panel based testing for suspected

He gave me his card and boasted about movies he's produced... I'm not really sure of the right word, I don't know what producing a movie is. The point is he worked in movies and he was successful.

His website has photos of him with movie stars and he is dressed extremely well. He drives a bright colored very expensive sports car and his cologne is loud and smells fantastic. His shoes are either perpetually new or he gets them cleaned professionally every single time I see him. Why am I seeing him in an FQHC with his medi-cal?? Well, saw. His insurance changed so I'm not seeing him anymore.

Fortunately I don't have to decide because she sees GYN who orders US. They asked me today to but I refused and asked them to get order from GYN.

I had some teeth cleaning done once and dentist explained to me a similar concept in their practice. Deep cleaning was recommended to a patient, they declined so dentist just did basic cleaning. Patient had bad outcome. Dentist got sued because they offered the wrong treatment which led to bad outcome.

Granted this isn't treatment, it's a diagnostic screening test. But in my mind it's similar. If I order the wrong test and something is missed, I imagine I would be held liable for ordering the wrong test even though the patient knowingly declines.

My dad is very experienced he recommended only grafting in milder weather. But a lot of internet shows grafting in summertime with success.

As we creep closer to summer I wanted to ask others for their experience. Can grafting be successful in hotter weather? What are measures that you take to improve your chance of success that is different than cool weather grafting? Is it better to just wait for late winter or spring?

Things I am grafting include cherimoya and yangmei and some other subtropicals.

Thanks!!

I tried grafting for the first time earlier this year. I had a multi grafted stone fruit. I didn't really like the varieties except for the apricot. So I removed some of the apricot and I grafted it onto the tree, removing mostly everything else. I kept some major branches in case I failed.

Some of the grafts failed. They're just little stumps. Can I try again this year would it work? Or do I need to try again after next season? I was thinking doing it the same time of summer pruning.
