Is there a recommended usage between writing the * with the type / with the variable name? E.g. int* i and int *i

So I've been toying with the idea of creating a discord server for twosetters for quite a while now, and I did make it a week ago. Initially it was just shared in 1 chat group, but now I'm looking at releasing it.
